You clearly have no sense of humor. I suppose Kathy Griffin holding up an effigy Trump bloodied, severed head did not amuse you either.

The liberals were outraged definitely. Did the conservatives run around the country, going on TV, talking about want to kill Obama?

Hint: No, we licked our wounds, organized and mobilized for 2010.

Where was your outrage DGUtley?

I reiterate, Did the conservatives run around the country, going on TV, talking about wanting to kill Obama? No. One or two isolated silly jokes does not constitute "running around". C'mon man. Apples / Apples.

Was Hastings on TV? No.

It was a videotape of him speaking before a group, just as Purdues.

Btw...The Psalm Purdue was referring to Psalm 109:8, was popular on Twitter and Facebook among Republicans wishing death upon Obama, even to be put on t-shirts.

Did you condemn it?

Obama had his detractors, but for the most part it was based on his political ideas. Sure there was the occasional nit-wit who said something stupid. However, now the stupid not-witisisms are common. They are a daily occurance. They aren't based on Trump's policy ideas either. They are based on his personality and idiotic memes.

There were were not people following Obama adminstration people around and harassing them in restaurants or at a theater. No one was calling for violence to be committed against Obama administration appointees.

There's never been anything like this in the past.

Why does it it matter where he said it? He knew full well his comments would be recorded and made public. Your hypocrisy is on full display.

Now, the lunch rush is starting. Get back to work.

For a joke? Grow up.
Hundreds, if not millions of republicans, using a Bible verse to wish death upon a president is a joke but Hastings telling a joke isn't?

Tell me, which one was a joke and which wasn't?

During the Faith and Freedom conference in Washington, DC, Perdue made a quip about the Bible verse Psalm 109:8 (https://politics.blog.ajc.com/2016/06/10/david-perdues-quip-about-barack-obama-prompts-swift-social-media-reprimands/).
"I think we are called to pray," Perdue began. "I think we're called to pray for our country, for our leaders, and, yes, even for our president. [In] his role as president I think we should pray for Barack Obama, but I think we need to be very specific about how we pray. We should pray like Psalm 109:8 says. It says let his days be few and let another have his office."

June 2016. Hmm. What else was occurring in the latter half of 2016? Can anyone help me out? Barack Hussein O had roughly six months left before he would be term-limited out of office.

Still, I understand why pencil-necked buffoons would dig deep, even into the rest of the verse (unstated) to believe Christians (or was that Republicans?) wanted BHO dead.

I want BHO tried for his leadership role in the coup attempt. I hope we will find him guilty and hang him for treason. Of course, we didn't know of Obama's future coup attempt at that time.

The newest far-right craze is an anti-Obama slogan that is making its way onto t-shirts, bumper stickers, mugs, and even teddy bears: “Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8 (http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2009/11/16/biblical-anti-obama-slogan-use-of-psalm-1098-funny-or-sinister/),” which reads, “Let his days be few; and let another take his office.” The meme is also taking off on Twitter (http://search.twitter.com/search?q=109%3A8), with conservatives calling it “hilarious.” Commentators have noted that it’s unclear whether the intent is to hope for an end to Obama’s time in office — or an end to his life. But a look at the lines in the rest of the psalm (http://schott.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/11/19/psalm-1098-let-his-days-be-few/?) hint at the latter:
Let his days be few; and let another take his office.Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labor.Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children.Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Diana Butler Bass at Beliefnet explains that Psalm 109 is one of the “imprecatory” prayers (http://blog.beliefnet.com/progressiverevival/2009/11/psalm-1098--a-prayer-for-obama.html), “a lament in the form of petition to destroy one’s enemies.” While perhaps intended to be a joke, she notes that the psalm actually “entreats God to destroy the president”:
It is the personal prayer of an individual, someone who has been dealt an injustice by another — and usually more powerful — person. The words of Psalm 109 are those of deep agony, the longings of a victim for retribution and justice. This psalm is considered one of the most difficult of all the psalms — full of violent images of vengeance and death.

And you can't post without insulting and trying to demean other posters you disagree with. And you talk about acting like an adult?

Hell, you can't even act like a mod.

I'd report your post, but don't want you to ban me for over-reporting, ya know...

You do know you highlight your inability to think for yourself with every cut and paste hit job from radical left websites, don't you?

Have you ever thought through anything without googling for a leftist who does the thinking for you?
