Nah the liberals here are right the lefts not violent at all. Everyday one to several incidences of left wing violence. This time they beat up one of their own.

Man Attacked By Antifa For Holding 'Fascist' American Flag Turns Out To Be Bernie Supporter
An Antifa-led counter-protest that turned violent a few weeks ago in Portland, Oregon, featured a particularly disturbing moment caught on video (https://youtu.be/bwE620VkaD0): a man carrying an America flag crumbling to the ground after being hit in the back of the head by a masked, club-wielding Antifa member.

While Antifa apparently believed the man was a member of some white supremacist group, that couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, he was carrying the flag because he wanted to make clear that the far-right doesn't have a monopoly on patriotism.

"Paul Welch came to the downtown protest Aug. 4 to let his political leanings be known," The (https://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2018/08/he_brought_an_american_flag_to.html) Oregonian (https://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2018/08/he_brought_an_american_flag_to.html) reports. "With pride he clutched his U.S. flag as he moved among the crowd of like-thinking demonstrators." But things quickly unraveled when Welch encountered black-clad so-called "anti-fascist" protesters, who "demanded he lose the flag, calling it a fascist symbol," the paper reports.

While Welch tried to wrestle his flag back from the Antifa goons, one of them, wearing a baseball helmet, black mask and holding a shield, took a club to the back of his head, leaving him lying concussed on the ground, bleeding profusely.

I'm never sure how accurate these stories are? If he was clubbed the person hitting him should have been arrested. Did that happen, it should have. What is interesting is the shear amount of these stories from the right. Many are dishonest or exaggerated, but they feed the flock and pass like the propaganda the Trump administration puts forth daily on any topic that doesn't coincide with their ideology or earlier lies. Later the story changes but does that really matter. A few sources below on topic.

midcan5, I agree absolutely. Accuracy is important. Disinformation and dishonesty is damaging. Remember shortly after the election when all of those stories about atrocities committed by Trump supporters turned out to be fake?
