Are you suggesting we put a limit on the speed of a bullet? That would be applying the same logic.

Then explain the analogy.

I think he's saying if you're driving faster than 30mph with a gun in your car, you'll get a ticket.
Maybe Dianne Feinstein will take away your gun afterwards as well.

Chris

You'd get a ticket after you maybe killed someone. The speed limit sign, like gun laws, are only followed by law-abiding and sane people.

I'm trying to understand the part about regulation, what's the analogy there.

Besides someone could take away my gun without taking away my unalienable right, so analogy fails there too.

Good ... then you have no problem with everyone diving a vehicle to be licensed, or is that an option in your world?

Good ... then you have no problem with everyone diving a vehicle to be licensed, or is that an option in your world?

How will you enforce that? There are plenty who drive without a driver's license. The regulation doesn't prevent that. Just as a gun regulation will not prevent some criminal or insane person from killing people.

I'm starting to like the analogy.

erveryone driving does NOT have to be licensed

But they don't. I have a friend that knows many in California that are victims of hit and runs because illegals don't care about our laws and drive without them. If they are caught they give a different name. Do you really think the gangs in your state that have been in and out of prison have a license to carry a weapon? What world are you living in? But you think this will work. Better yet go ask them if they have one.

Hey Cigar, the regulations only work for law abiding people or after the crime has been committed.

I've never made that argument Cigar, but I believe it's rather useless cause it doesn't keep guns out of the hands of the bad guys.

What's been happening in your neck of the woods should be testament to that.

Anarchy is a radical left ideology.
You should learn some politics before you try to debate it.

I know that this will surprise Liberals but people that are going to comit a crime do nto care that it is illegal.

So you are saying that because there is a speed limit sign posted that there would be no need for law inforcment because everyone will drive at the posted speed?

I see that is great logic, but like most liberal ideas it does not stand up to reality

GrumpyDog
01-09-2013, 03:55 PM
What does that have to do with a license?

The point is: Licensed and law abiding citizens, using a car, following the speed limit, still kill people just like unlicensed criminals, driving a stolen car, violating the speed limit, do.

Only reason there is licensing, is because everyone sues everyone else for accidents, and the Insurance Lobby = AIG, likes to make big profits, while the lawyers make a good living too.

LEFT.
I'm not sure what your purpose was with this definition, but I was just telling you that to call someone a conservative anarchist is a total political oxymoron. You should have known that before I told you.

There's both libertarian and socialist anarchists. Both advocate governance without government. The former based on private property, the latter on collective property. Naturally, I generalize.

My god, you actually tried to respond. You failed but you responded. The newspaper which published the addresses of people with gun permits has hired armed guards. Lots of liberals who hate guns have armed bodyguards. And, liberal SWAT teams with machine guns raid a dairy farm, looking for, gasp, milk. I wonder if they were able to find any?

And, obviously, any gun control the socialists would come up with would disarm law-abiding citizens and not disturb the criminals with guns who are already protected by the liberals.

Chicago is the poster city for gun control.

You ahve no Guns so why is your country so violent! And why are there so many murders, because while you gun rate is low your homicide rate? Not so much!

What happened because without guns walking around killing people all by themselves like the left believes they do in this country, You would think that you wild be safe in your country.

But in fact you are almost twice as likely to be a victom of violent crime. (maybe you should try guns)
