Vox is a far left and now obviously classless sites

Far-left Vox smeared Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) in an article following his passing on Saturday, writing that he was responsible for empowering a demagogue who was responsible for Donald Trump's rise to the presidency.

In a now-deleted tweet, Vox wrote: "You can draw a straight line from John McCain to Donald Trump — through Sarah Palin."

"The party of Donald Trump began almost 10 years ago to the day, when John McCain tapped Sarah Palin to join his ticket," Vox political editor Laura McGann wrote (https://web.archive.org/web/20180826012556/https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/8/25/17779128/sarah-palin-john-mccain-legacy-trump). "He proved willing to empower a demagogue when he thought doing so would improve his political fortunes, exactly the sin so many of his colleagues in the Republican Party have committed since Trump won their party’s nomination."

McGann continued that McCain "sacrificed his values to win."

"After being diagnosed with cancer, McCain still defended Palin’s performance but said he regretted not picking Lieberman as his running mate," the article concluded.

Following Vox's smear piece, numerous people from across the political spectrum reacted with anger:

Some of the left is smearing McCain. Some are giving him props. Same for those on the Right.

I never cared for McCain much. Whether he is liked or not. He was still an Iconic Senator.

2 days ago he announced he was quitting the Cancer treatment. 2 days later he is dead. They will hold a ceremony for him in the Senate.

At least the guy did not die alone. His family was there for him.

What was the error?I'm gonna have to agree ... if it wasn't for McCain and who needs to be revered by today's RWNJ .... simply because of his VP choice for Palin ... who invented the art of wretched stupid-downed fear and hate conservatism ... that made her wealthy and put Trumpf in the oval office ..

The occasion of someone's passing is a terrible time to smear them in the press, regardless of the truth of the statements. It doesn't hurt the one who has passed, it hurts their family and other loved ones who did nothing to deserve such malicious disregard for their feelings.

I kind of wish people would just act with common decency and compassion. Don't like him? That's fine - no need to celebrate a person's death.

And what about all the families whose loved ones died in wars that McCain helped to start? Who will speak for them as the political and media establishments try to sanctify McCain's odious legacy?

There is a difference between celebrating his death and challenging attempts to celebrate his life.

As we speak, there is a concerted effort among the establishment to cement McCain's legacy as some kind of noble patriot. That effort MUST be challenged on behalf of the scores of people that McCain helped to victimize.

By trash.Get real, Palin blamed McCain for losing to Obama then went rogue and remained a rabid conservative demagogue (literally to blame for the Tucson Massacre) ... then she became a Trumpf worshiper in hopes of getting some obscure cabinet position ... right up until until the moment Trumpf threw her under the bus ...

When, in your opinion is a good time to celebrate the death of a bad man?

In my opinion, we should begin celebrations as soon as it is clear the story is true.

Maybe we can compromise. You hold off a week or two and celebrate then. I will continue my celebration for at least as long as the enemedia crams down our throats what a wonderful man that tyrant was. Deal?

Celebrating the death of a bad man is common decency. Pretending he was a good man is neither compassionate nor decent.

There is a time and place for everything. Many spoke out against those wars at the time and will continue to condemn them.

McCain's legacy will ultimately be recorded in the history books. For now, this is the time for his family to grieve. They are undoubtedly exhausted from living through his illness and the emotional toll that takes and are entitled to a little peace.

I'm not going to remain silent while McCain's establishment allies rush to prettify his legacy and whitewash his crimes against humanity. And I'm not stopping McCain's family from grieving in peace. They are more than free to do so.

McCain was a villain. He lied to his constituents. He voted down the repeal of ObamaCare and his fingerprints are on the coup attempt's primary document, the Steele Dossier.

Even Palen could not get Conservatives to vote for McCain.
