Who is scumier? The Dems or the neocons? I won't include mainstream repubs or the LP as they do not stoop as low as either of the above. Even the socialist can't match war making for selected profit or the tantrum throwing dems.
"35 years ago in high school" somebody choose whether or not to report an incident , quite probably because it never happened in the way now described. But they found someone willing to say that the Judge attacked her back in the day. Her claims about his high level of intoxication are no doubt designed to claim that he doesn't remember because he was in a blackout. But yet was sober enough to trap her and over power her? I can hear it now. What a balless, cheap shot this whole thing is. Even if partly true there can be no evidence now , only doubt cast over his character in a last ditch effort for dems to.... get what they want.. like a three year old who doesn't want to leave clinging to the couch! And what they want is to have the president pick a justice they want. To get that you have to win the white house, which they did not , which SHOULD BE the end of the story.
Why I myself had a knife pulled on me as a kid , close to 50 years ago. Should I report this now? LOL. The dude is dead anyway but I didn't have anything to do with it. But wouldn't that be equally silly?
This is a tantrum/last ditch effort like a small child would make. After seeing how the DNC turned on their own and their faithful voters in the last election and now this I must ask:
Who are bigger assholes? Neocons? Or the Democrats as a whole?

Whoever said that politics was a clean business?? Both sides practice the same dirty tricks and then cry publicly how bad the other side is. My feeling is that both sides deserve what they get. Both sides are **** IMO; so glad I've been a life-long independent, there is no way I want to be associated with these clowns.

Oh really? When have republicans ever stooped to this level during SCOTUS confirmation hearings? I mean, you know, besides never.

I think it matters in the big picture of things. If the right complained about the Biden rule and the left complained about it don't you see the hypocrisy of both parties?

So what do you think? Was the Biden rule right or wrong?

Well that's where we disagree then. The republicans are not innocent when it comes to dirty tricks; they are just as bad as democrats in my book.

I asked another poster in here if he felt that the so-called Biden Rule was wrong. All I got were no direct answers at all. Do you feel the Biden Rule was wrong?

Tell me when Republicans did something like this? I don't ever recall the Republicans smearing any Supreme Court nominees from Democratic presidents. They generally say that they don't like the pick, but vote to confirm anyway.

That's for sure. As of now we don't know if the woman is going to show for the hearing. What does that say? She has been offered a closed door hearing and still hasn't responded.

She is being offered time to tell a story she can't prove. Her lawyer wants to limit the questions. This is a setup. The woman hasn't said anything believable. She can't remember anyone else at the party but Judge; can't remember who's house it was at; can't remember how she got there or how she got home.

This is a disgraceful thing. It's what we've come to. It isn't going to get better.
