"There is no question that liberals do an impressive job of expressing concern for blacks. But do the intentions expressed in their words match the actual consequences of their deeds?"
http://frontpagemag.com/2013/thomas-sowell/liberalism-versus-blacks/

An excellent article about the effect liberal "caring" has on our black population and how little the liberals care.

"San Francisco is a classic example of a city unexcelled in its liberalism. But the black population of San Francisco today is less than half of what it was back in 1970, even though the city’s total population has grown."

As Californians have abandoned California for other states they try to replicate their "successes" there. When the small city I lived in was flooded with Californians laws were passed that drove working class people out of town. Of course, working class was largely minority and largely not from California. After they drove them out of town they whined about a lack of diversity.

"Liberals try to show their concern for the poor by raising the level of minimum wage laws. Yet they show no interest in hard evidence that minimum wage laws create disastrous levels of unemployment among young blacks in this country, as such laws created high unemployment rates among young people in general in European countries."

Nothing like maintaining poverty for minorities by keeping people unemployed or minimally employed.

"The black family survived centuries of slavery and generations of Jim Crow, but it has disintegrated in the wake of the liberals’ expansion of the welfare state. Most black children grew up in homes with two parents during all that time but most grow up with only one parent today."

It is amazing how liberals can still say, "Don't good intentions count?" When will the liberal war on minorities end? Probably, when liberalism as we know it ends.

The best Endorsement mechanism the Democratic Party has, are Republicans and Conservatives.

All you need to do is allow them to talk and Act ... and it works like a charm.

Let's don't leave out their abortion success that has resulted in the deaths of double-digit millions of blacks. Margaret Sanger must be smiling in her grave, that was the idea all along.

And the truly sad part is that idiots like Cigar are too stupid to see this.

Amazing . Do you write nonsense like that because you are bored with nothing else to do ? Or has someone brain washed you into imagining it is partly true ?
The funny thing is how you write as though you are the more intelligent analysts who spot what others are incapable of seeing .
Yet what you write is always so spectacularly dumb ---- Cigar is so stupid . We are so far seeing etc
You try and talk a good story but you fail to do even that . Can you wonder that we think Texarse is the land where Hilly Billy culture reigns supreme

Try that again in the Queen's English please. Maybe the next time you're sober...

Then why do you keep pretending you have something intelligent to say? It's a mystery but of course you would hate Thomas Sowell. He's black and the racist liberals hate blacks. You and the Grunt do make a fun tag-team.

Thanks for making my point for me .
Are all Texarses as poorly equipped for General Comprehension ?
If simple plain English baffles you , then what hope for later?

You try too hard, Cary. That's why your prose is often impenetrable.

It's not the form, that's English, but the lack of content in your posts.

PatrickT,
I do not know if people caught onto what I have been saying about Progressivism which is now commonly referred to as Liberalism.
If studied, Progressivism/Liberalism is designed to thwart the economic rise and stability of Black people. This becomes obvious when examining the events that have lead up to today.
First there was the Ku Klux Klan to drive Blacks off of lands
Second there was the Jim and Crow Era mixed with the Black codes of slavery
Third there was the muting of economic discussion with the creation of the NAACP
Four Welfare which is actually Farewell to independence, freedom and the desire for economic development

Liberalism/Progressivism is a well laid and designed plan that has lead to the morass and chaos that has become the benchmark of Black people in the United States and all over the planet.

<Yes. Let's not forget how groups of progressives, targeting the black population, would congregate every other Saturday or so to force black pregnant women into abortion clinics all over the country against their will. These women attempted on many occasions to bring suit against them, to no avail. The progressives' lobby was just too big and powerful for the black woman to be heard.>

Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood…

We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population….

That's from The Democrat Race Lie (http://www.black-and-right.com/the-democrat-race-lie/) where you'll find a long history...

October 13, 1858
During Lincoln-Douglas debates, U.S. Senator Stephen Douglas (D-IL) states: “I do not regard the Negro as my equal, and positively deny that he is my brother, or any kin to me whatever”; Douglas became Democratic Party’s 1860 presidential nominee

April 16, 1862
President Lincoln signs bill abolishing slavery in District of Columbia; in Congress, 99% of Republicans vote yes, 83% of Democrats vote no

January 31, 1865
13th Amendment banning slavery passed by U.S. House with unanimous Republican support, intense Democrat opposition

13th Amendment banning slavery passed by U.S. Senate with 100% Republican support, 63% Democrat opposition

November 22, 1865
Republicans denounce Democrat legislature of Mississippi for enacting “black codes,” which institutionalized racial discrimination

February 5, 1866
U.S. Rep. Thaddeus Stevens (R-PA) introduces legislation, successfully opposed by Democrat President Andrew Johnson, to implement “40 acres and a mule” relief by distributing land to former slaves

...

June 10, 1964
Senate Minority Leader Everett Dirksen (R-IL) criticizes Democrat filibuster against 1964 Civil Rights Act, calls on Democrats to stop opposing racial equality. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was introduced and approved by a staggering majority of Republicans in the Senate. The Act was opposed by most southern Democrat senators, several of whom were proud segregationists—one of them being Al Gore Sr. Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson relied on Illinois Senator Everett Dirksen, the Republican leader from Illinois, to get the Act passed.

August 4, 1965
Senate Republican Leader Everett Dirksen (R-IL) overcomes Democrat attempts to block 1965 Voting Rights Act; 94% of Senate Republicans vote for landmark civil right legislation, while 27% of Democrats oppose. Voting Rights Act of 1965, abolishing literacy tests and other measures devised by Democrats to prevent African-Americans from voting, signed into law; higher percentage of Republicans than Democrats vote in favor

February 19, 1976
President Gerald Ford formally rescinds President Franklin Roosevelt’s notorious Executive Order authorizing internment of over 120,000 Japanese-Americans during WWII

This is why we don't want the government into our lives and lets not forget the ones they sterilized. It just wasn't black women, it was a lot of women that got pregnant without being married.
