I don't put blinders on. I know full well how he acts and I'm not happy about it. I know that he distorts the truth, but Obama and Bush and... did as well. They did it with less brashness and Bush without responding to the relentless attacks on his character that it seemed like it was less hostile; but they did it. Doesn't make it right, but the fact that the left is up in arms about it is hypocritical. The hostility is real. To some degree it's because (IMHO - and I know some of you disagree) he's trying to dismantle the permanent bureaucracy to some extent, i.e. the swamp.

I have said it many times: it was about the Court. The Courts. It was always about the Court and Courts for me. We were at a perilous time. We were losing intellectual integrity in our judicial system; and, instead, deciding cases not on the law but on how we felt. Some of you think that's ok. Me, I say 'change the law' but follow the law. I've talked to State Supreme Court Justices and Federal Judges that have scratched their heads at the intellectual dishonesty coming out of some of our courts. Not decisions that you disagree with; but, decisions that are written to get to a result regardless of the reasoning. Hillary had stated who she'd appoint by philosophy that was unacceptable. Undo Heller, her daughter promised. Open borders, Hillary promised.

If we aren't a nation of laws, we have anarchy. Trump promised judges from The Federalist Society list. That did it for me. Constitutionally conservative judges to preserve the boundary lines established by our founders so that we could leave this great experiment for our grandchildren yet continue to play (and fight) within those lines. Once those lines were destroyed, we'd never get them back.
