GLADWYNE, Pa. — Residents in multiple Pennsylvania towns reported hearing and feeling a large explosion or blast Sunday night. Multiple agencies are responding.
Lower Merion Police and Fire are focusing their efforts in the 600 block of Dodds Lane in Gladwyne. The explosion could be heard township wide — including Villanova, all the way to Northeast Philly, and even part of Burlington County, New Jersey

Officials confirmed a gas leak and explosion at a large home in Gladwyne but residents miles away are reporting tremors.

Most likely a low level earthquake; they've been known to produce sounds mimicking an explosion.
