The relationship between the Republican establishment and Ron Paul supporters within the GOP has been at times volatile over the past year, and until now Priebus has not proactively sought out support from the Ron Paul-Libertarian side of the party.

But Libertarian minded activists, many of whom supported Ron Paul, have gained ground as part of the Republican leadership in several states recently. In addition to Nevada, and Maine, they've had success in Iowa, Kentucky, Colorado, Florida, Missouri, and Minnesota.

Priebus? No idea who he is. If he wants to help the cause he should get his supporters to join Ron Paul's supporters, not take from Ron Paul's base to inflate himself.

The whole idea of the RLoVeution is to buck the trend, not join it.

He's the chairman of the RNC. This is an example of the Ron Paul wing gaining a little bit of influence in the Republican Party.

Gross.
The Republican Party needs to just die, all it is now is a feeding tube for RINOs like Bush, McCain, and Romney.

I'm sick of it.
All true conservatives are sick of it.

Me too. The two party monopoly isn't going away soon though, right now the best thing we can hope for is change from within. We're already seeing some positive change.

See my thread about Reps who are continuing to sponsor Audit the Fed legislation:

Too late for an audit.

Shut the government down like we did with Clinton.

Let the moochers and Democrat slaves see that their government can't provide for them like the American system can. Let them see that if they don't get out there and make a future for themselves then they can die standing by their mailboxes waiting for their welfare checks to come in.

Survival of the fittest at work.
