Before liberals get upset and blame right wing propaganda its WAPO that says it

We’re less than two hours away from the first polls closing this election cycle, and it seems Democrats are poised to make some gains. Whether they will retake the House remains to be seen. The generic ballot advantage favors Democrats, but the races that will decide who will control the lower chamber is tight; it’s a point or two difference in most cases. The areas are usually Republican. They should break Republican. Whatever the case, the gains Democrats are projected to make tonight will be difficult to defend in 2020, so soak it up Democrats. In 2020, they can all be washed away

It was written by the washington post 2 hrs before the polls closed, this is not a right wing publication.

In 2010 the gop won 63 house seats and ton of everything else, that was a true red wave. This was not a blue wave and certainly wasnt a repudiation of trump, like 2010 was for the democrats.

When its all said and done Illegal voting will have come into play and other factors.
Steyer and other democrat billionaires spent hundreds of millions on Gillum and Nelson in fla, grossly out spent the GOP and obama and everyone else came down to campaign for gillum.

The election wouldnt have been near as close except for the 1.1 million puerto ricans that flooded fla after the hurricane and were promptly all registered to vote. The democrats were banking on that putting them over the top, it didnt.

A two term gov unseated a 4 term US dem Senator

The Democratic majority is fairly slim. However, they will gerrymander districts where possible, but if they persue a course of endless investigations and impeachment, it will be a wasted effort.

Right, I was wondering about the "slim" comment.

I do think though if the dems run on the platform of obstruction and witch hunts voters will take notice. They actually need to accomplish something rather than obstructing and throwing shit, otherwise Trump will blow them out of the water.

Like it or not, he's accomplished a lot in two years.

Control of the Senate is more important anyway. After Harry Reid screwed the democrats by trying to screw the republicans the judges will sail through to the bench.
