Site won't hold cookie for login

Lately this site logs me off automatically on every machine I own. Not every time, but with increasing frequency. And yesterday, wouldn't let me login with the site issued reset password, but instead allowed me to login with the old password. And yes, I always check "remember me". I haven't changed any browser settings on any of my machines.

When I first registered here it happened a couple of times, but then finally "stuck".

A little help please.

I have never had that problem. A while back somebody else did; maybe they will answer.

We have made no recent changes to the manner in which the site handles log ins.

Perhaps a recent update to your preferred browser altered your cookie settings? Do you have your password stored in your web browser?

I suppose that is a possibility, I'll check it out, thanks. :)

I never allow any browser to store passwords.

That fixes most of my browser problems. I run Firefox, so the PC shortcut for me is Ctrl + Shift + Delete. Hope that helps, Countryboy.
