Aging porn actress Stormy Daniels says her career has been “completely destroyed” by President Trump.
The star of “Dumb Blonde” recently told the Oxford Union (https://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/oxford-union/) that she was blindsided by the “circus” that arrived after she filed her defamation lawsuit against the commander in chief. Writing and directing prospects, she claimed during an event titled “Sex, Guns and Other Fluff: How Porn Can Set You Free,” have evaporated, Newsweek reported (https://www.newsweek.com/stormy-daniels-politics-and-trump-have-completely-destroyed-my-career-1218238).
“I had no idea what I was getting myself into,” said the adult-film star whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. “Nor would I realize what a huge impact the circus would have, not only on my life, but the rest of the world.”
Ms. Clifford claims to have had a brief sexual relationship with Mr. Trump in 2006. A legal maelstrom erupted when she filed a lawsuit over a non-disclosure agreement related to her claims earlier in the year.
The 39-year-old porn actress complained of being “instantly disbelieved and discounted simply because I work in the porn industry,” adding that politics is “a much dirtier job than [mine],” the magazine reported.
In the year since she became a household name thanks to the Trump lawsuit, she has had a book published, been interviewed by numerous TV shows, and had a full schedule of appearances at adult-entertainment clubs.
A federal judge dismissed Ms. Clifford’s lawsuit in October and ruled that Mr. Trump is entitled to compensation for his legal fees.
