I knew this was coming, but I expected it a couple of weeks ago as you can always tell when a Democrat going to run for president. They always roll out another twist on taxing the rich.

He said something I found funny. He said that AI is something which should be available to all, just not mega corps. A Democrat once ran on a slogan of "a chicken in every pot". In 2019 that has progressed to " a robot in every home".

what they don't explain is how they're going to pay for it once the rich are poor.

As AOC said. "Just pay for it".

The only reason Sanders believes he has a chance is because he thinks the nomination was stolen from him in 2016 and he's entitled to it now. In reality, Sanders doesn't have a chance at defeating Trump in a national election.

What do you define as rich? What is the litmus test for this?

I will not presume who is rich. That will be left up to the Cortez Gang. But according to recent releases, anyone whom they consider rich will be their target. My point was, who's next once they've pilfered the wealthy. The level of "wealth" can be adjusted to meet the quals. Today, it might be millionaires and billionaires. Once they've been bled down, the money will only trickle in. Then the bar will be lowered. It could very well be that in 15 years, those who make 500 thousand a year might be considered wealthy. And so on down the ladder.............We've seen how this works in Russia, and currently VZ.

Obviously that changes over time. Once you tax one income group to the max, you need to slide the scale to justify taxing the next lower group of earners. Eventually you run out of rich to tax.

I don't think Biden would be a strong candidate. He's been crushed in primaries in the past. I don't believe he'd fare very well on a national scene. The media would support him, but they'll support any Democrat who wins the nomination.

Neither Sanders or Biden can make a claim that they are a fresh face with new ideas. That seems to be a big deal with those leaning Democratic today.

I am looking forward to owning my very own, top of the line, sex robot. If I vote for Bernie do you think he will give me my choice? Or will I have to use last year's model?

Did I say he would even place? Not me. I figure he's one of the two best chances they have, equaling no chance

He broke the ice in his 2016 campaign with the free college thing. It's only safe to think he wants everyone to have their own robot.

The DNC was actively working against him. It will be interesting to see how well he does this time.

Between me and you, if you are making 500k per year I'd think you are rich. I know a lot of people who'd like to make that kind of money every year. That being said it'll be interesting in 15 years to see what is considered rich.

Wait, you have some problem with Biden for whatever it is you are referring to? yet you back the pussy grabber in chief who hired Cohen to pay off a porn star to keep her mouth shut (irony) about something that happened while his (Trump's) wife was home with his new baby? Really. Doesn't the hypocrisy every get to you, even a little bit?

Biden is very, very religious. He is always laying his hands on young girls. Occasionally, he lays his hands on the captive wives he finds himself nearby.

We are talking about two different issues. For Biden, we have imaged evidence. We can watch him grope youngsters on youtube. Ditto the wives... Neither the children nor the wives appear to be willing.

For President Trump, we have a statement, "when you are a star they let you..." Of course, that is true.

I know people who believe one is rich if they make 100k to 150K a year.

I don't consider someone to be rich until they do not consider their finances when making lifestyle decisions.

Let's ignore Trump's history of looking at prepubescent girls and making sexual statements about them, including his own daughter - one of his more revolting personality quirks. If Biden is too handsy with young girls, he shouldn't be allowed to run. I don't want to see any perverts in the WH.

I think you exaggerate:

In 1999, according to the New York Daily News, Trump said he'd promised his daughter, Ivanka, that he'd never date anyone younger than her:“I have a deal with her. She’s 17 and doing great ― Ivanka. She made me promise, swear to her that I would never date a girl younger than her,” Trump said. “So as she grows older, the field is getting very limited.”

I also believe you have a poor understanding of Trump's sense of humor.

Bernie Sanders' ability to raise money puts him at the top of the list of Democratic contenders.

Democrats are in a tough spot. So far none of the announced candidates could win a national election. They each attract one sect of the fringe left.
