Due to the influence of men like Netanyahu, Israel has become more isolated and strategically weakened than ever.

At Israel's urging, Iraq's government was overthrown, essentially turning the country over to the Shiite majority which is increasingly aligned with Iran.

The Syrian "regime change" operation that Israel pursued failed and allowed Iran to establish a semi-permanent foothold inside of Syria.

And international support for Israel has been steadily eroding, which is the linchpin of Israel strategic security. Without international support, Israel would probably cease to exist in its traditional form.

For those who wish to see Israel defeated and even destroyed, Netanyahu's victory is sort of a paradoxical win. His incompetent, terrible leadership is weakening Israel more than its enemies ever could.
