More bad news for the democrats, and great news for America; funny how common that juxtaposition is, isn't it?

U.S. economy grows 3.2% in first quarter, smashing expectationsDespite the strong report, don’t expect a change in the Federal Reserve’s policy

The U.S. economy grew at a3.2% annualized rate in the first quarter of the year — a faster pace than the previous quarter's 2.2% and significantly more than the 2.1% economists were expecting, the Commerce Department said (https://www.bea.gov/news/2019/gross-domestic-product-1st-quarter-2019-advance-estimate) on Friday, thanks to strong exports and consumer spending.

Why it matters: Concerns about a U.S. economic slowdown have subsided, given the bounce back in recent economic indicators. This blowout GDP report — though subject to revision — shows that the economic cycle might have more room to run, putting the Federal Reserve, which has backed off on raising rates, in a tough spot.

Trish, you're on record here spouting off your hatred for Republicans and supporters of Trump. You're already on record claiming Trump's tax cuts have "ruined this economy" or some such nonsense. I'll go back and find your posts if I must, it was some months ago and you were chastising me for being a 'gullible Trump Supporter' you remember I'm sure so don't make me waste time...

Trump clearly isn't ruining the economy, in fact, managing over a strong economy with increased consumer confidence. Your predictions and pontifications about tax cuts weren't correct. Your hate because Hillary lost so apparent, so right there on your sleeve. The only thing I'm knocking off is your silly arguments and I'm doing it with ease because I have the facts on my side. If Trump had ruined the economy as was your false claim...the economy would have shrunk by 3.2%. As well....late reports coming to the this 3.2 number will most likely kick it up closer to 3.5% and by anyone's sane and objective measure....that's not a "ruined economy" like you've claimed.

You weren't even able to 'ruin' Judge Kavanaugh even though you tried so hard, Trish. The economy isn't ruined either. What's ruined perhaps....is any of your women's chances to win the Democrat Primary. The three white men and Idiot B's....Biden, Beto, and Bernie, lead all polls, fundraising, and hopes for 2020. Why is that, Trish. Have you managed to 'ruin' racism and misogyny in your own party? Why with so many women and such a diverse field for the Dems.....are the three white dudes your preferences?

oops.

Trump was wrong. And so was I. We were both thinking 4 to 5% but didn't factor in the .08 to 1.8% drop directly related to the Democrats winning the House. Due to this unforeseeable reality, one must now curb economic growth predictions. The Luther type mentality represented in government with his Green New Deal socialism tends to act as a parachute behind your Hot Rod. We're now boldly stepping back to 3 to 4% growth due to the slowdown in direct proportion to any Democrat being elected. We forgot that caveat. Our bad. Should the Republicans, pray God, win back the House in 2020, keep the Senate and this great President in office.....we'll return to the 5% pontifications. We'd certainly be capable of it. Long as you parachutes exist....well.....you know what a parachute does, it's built to slow you down. So are Democrats.

I've also stated my opinion on immigration, political correctness and socialism which clearly is aligned with the republican stance.

So, we're not unpatriotic nor evil?

You are trying to portray me as an emotional liberal when that is far from who I am. There's nothing to be said about it. I will never change your mind and I'm okay with that. I'm okay with who I am. (shrug)

I'm not portraying you as anything, I'm merely quoting you link included. I'm not paraphrasing, I'm not portraying, I'm not asking you change my mind....what I am asking is that you embrace your own bullshiit. That is you I quoted, Trish, it doesn't need anyone to portray it, doesn't need me to come in and decipher, what you're saying there with your own freedom of speech is quite clear. And I'm ok with it too until you go trying to blame your own opinions on someone else trying tom portray you as someone you're not, or trying to misrepresent you. No one is doing that, your opinion is quite strong. Quite clear and detailed.

I was focused of course on the statement regarding our economy. It isn't correct. You made that statement...in the midst of economic growth clocking in at 3.2% growth. It just wasn't accurate. The rant merely exposes who you are and what you think of we Trump supporters. Your statement on the economy made it clear where you stand on it today....and you're wrong. Again.

So I'm neither cherry picking nor representing your position on matters is the so what and I'd appreciate you quit making that accusation. No one is misrepresenting you, you're quite clear and concise.

You framed my position and you selected which quotes to use so YES, you are trying to portray me a certain way.

I have other things I can be doing that will make me happy.

Enjoy the rest of your day. :0)

I've never seen a rodeo with such unhinged cowboys and cowgals, no. Even been to a big time rodeo in North Dakota. Me...being from the Right Coast.....watching this young dude strapping onto this massive bull....taught us what makes them kick too.....wow. Impressive. I wouldn't go near the thing unless you ripped it's horns off, wiped its' ass, and walked it by the fire....give me some steak sauce and I'm all over it. Given it was still steaming snot and lookn a tad disagreeable....I just watched while this 17 year old kid hung on for dear life. Had to buy duds to wear, didn't know it was a fashion event. Had to even buy a hat, still got it. Attended a cattle auction the next day....but I ain't never seen clowns like today's Democrats, Luther. Y'all take the cake.

Oh I know. She got the most votes in history. Won the popular vote. But today...you cannot find one of her voters! She was your Messiah and like the Good Friday week we just had, Peter would deny Christ three times afore the c0ck crowed. Today, we see denials....'hey...I wasn't with Her.' or 'I didn't vote for her.' Well...who did you vote for, Luther. You want to make your opinions known tell us how you did.

Nothing happens positively politically until we first REFORM our citizenry
Politicians are simply citizens themselves
Reforming sir, is NOT going to happen in our broken political process

It must start from the outside then in.

Amen?

That's all I did you're right, I did indeed frame your position....using forum tools like the quote buttons and then I linked to the forum where you wrote what you wrote. You then explained to me how gullible I was, how sad it was that people like me had no decency nor honor if I could support Trump.

My humor and enjoyment of course today as you discuss 'divisive tactics.' Not like the linked to thread questioning honor, asserting how gullible Trump voters are......those are smooth tactics, not the untoward divisive tactics of others, huh?

You're a scrapper, Trish. I like you. But don't play like you're being portrayed or misrepresented. Take your stand, take your lumps when appropriate and a few are necessary here. and move on.

Luther. Consider the election of Donald Trump that "outside then in" endeavor...yes? A furniture breaker. A reformer. Consider....Luther....that millions of Americans agreed that nothing positive was happening. That a reform of our citizenry was necessary. That we needed to stop listening to the idiot media outlets, stop listening to the run of the mill Biden, Clinton, Obama, Reid, Pelosi bullshiit. Consider Sir, that this IS the reform you speak to above, consider this unlikely scenario where Trump defeats the worlds smartest and most qualified candidate...is our amen.

And what in the world are you telling me there with the "None" comment to start that thread. Did you not vote...Luther? Age? Issue? You ok?

Mr husband of truth, the real question should be posed to Democrats in the House and Senate, why is it problem when so many more are working that you can't spend a dime less?
