My late father taught me this early in life and it's been true more times than I can count. It's certainly (in life) not what you do, it's who you are.
This certainly applies in politics. One side can do something and the other side will object. But if the side complaining had their politicians doing the same exact thing, it would be OK.
The thread about the embassay attack is a prime example. It is really what reminded me about this truth in life.
Sorry there are no links to my late father's quote and if there were no one would believe it anyway or come up with 50 links trying to disprove it.
