Congress is likely to follow precedent and bypass the new health care law’s draconian payment cuts to doctors and hospitals, causing the law's cost to balloon by trillions of dollars.

It turns out President Obama was right when he said his health care law wouldn't add one dime to the federal deficit.1 Figures from the Government Accountability Office suggest that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will in fact add 62 trillion dimes over the next 75 years.....

The States will also be spending alot of money on the Medicaid expansion which will result in higher state taxes.

American Idol Nation is getting what it deserves for falling for this charlatan.

Like Justice Roberts said(the only reasonable thing he ever said) it is not the job of the SCOTUS to protect stupid people from the consequences of the policies the people they elect enact.

Not only will it not cost one thin dime but if you're happy with your insurance you'll get to keep it.

That of course, if your employer continues to offer it. This is why Obama says it will not raise the deficit - People under the 400% poverty line are suppose to get government support on their premiums that are to be paid to the lucky health insurance that gets in on the exchange. The government is not going to give the insurance actual dollars for premiums on these individuals but they will get a refundable tax credit. Obama is also going to tax all healthcare providers in addition to the tanning tax and medical device tax. The insurance companies are going to demand a $63 fee for all new enrollees employers to pay that work for over 50 employees.

However the Medicaid is a different story but the budget report projections indicate that the government will not be spending much more then they do now. That means the States will take the full impact in 2 years which will result in higher state taxes. This will cost the employed much more in healthcare costs and while they complain that they don't want to pay for the uninsured - they are now mandated to pay for them plus all the administrative costs to enforce it.
