"Politico’s Mike Allen (http://www.mediaite.com/power-grid/person/?q=Mike+Allen) reported this morning (http://www.politico.com/playbook/0413/playbook10404.html?hp=l6) that MSNBC has hired the Democratic National Committee’s director of video production to become a producer for one of the cable network’s weekend political talk shows. DNC video production director Anne Thompson was reportedly given a farewell party at the DNC, replete with ice cream and refreshments, as she sets out to become segment producer on Up with Steve Kornacki (http://www.mediaite.com/power-grid/person/?q=Steve+Kornacki), MSNBC’s new weekend show."

It's been clear for some time that there was an alliance with the DNC directing MSNBC but the merger is approaching reality.

the right started Fox news how many years ago?

dudes your the ones who decided unbiased news fwas kicking your party bootay.

You decided to have a right wing "news" to combat reality.

Now you think no station should give the left point of veiw?

Yes it leans towards the left perspective but seeing as how you dragged all the news to the right so Bush could go to war in Iraq then someone had to make sure THAT could never happen again.

Remember before the war how all the stations fired anyone who questionedc the war?

Yes even MSNBC fired Phil donohue who had a brand new top rated show.

Oberman came later and at the time of the war was the ONLY person on the air questioning the war.

That is how Olberman got so big.

Do you have an example of Fox News hiring a producer from the GOP? I realize for dyslexics it's hard to do your own research. I realize the leftists see the media/socialist merger as a natural event and since leftists are incapable of shame it doesn't bother them at all.

I see truth still doesn't matter to you. Never has, never will. The OP was about the recent merger of MSNBC and the DNC and all the leftists can do is whine about the one media outlet that isn't part of the leftist propaganda machine. How pitiful.

Fox is affiliated with the NEOCON wing of the GOP. The rest of the media is affiliated with the DNC.

Journalism is dead in the US. Instead of being the 4th estate, it is a 5th column.

they have lost their moral moorings

They shun their own Jesus and hold on high the likes of Ayn Rand who sang the praises of Greed.

Would Jesus have whipped the money changers if they had been working through the government of the time to help the poor?

Wow! Truthdoesn'tmatter and Jillian just go apeshit, don't they? Lying is their strong point and doing anything to hijack the thread. Neither has complimented MSNBC for merging with the DNC. Hard to believe, isn't it?

So, fellas, no comment on the merger? I realize it's just formalizing something that's been obvious but surely you have some comment. How about, way to go, guys?

It's like they don't know who Rupert Murdoch or Roger Ailes is.....

.... or that the parent company of Fox Noos 2nd largest holder of voting stock in News Corp. is Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, a nephew of the Saudi king.

Jesus whipped the money changers because they were doing it in the temple. I wouldn't try to compare it to modern politics. Under the traditional story of Jesus, he was not worried about politics.

It's the phony outrage on the right that is interesting, as for myself, I don't like news being hijacked by ANY party, even when I do welcome a differing view from that of the dominant center-right crap on in nearly every doctor, dentist office and airports........

So the point of this thread is to go back and forth on who does bad journalism the most?

Yeah I'll leave you to it...

Journalism is dead in the US. Instead of being the 4th estate, it is a 5th column.

We actually have an investigative journalism show called the Fifth Estate here, (through CBC). It actually won an Academy Award.

Anyways, yes, I agree with you.

These two are sleeping together and have been for years. One is not a credible political party and the other is not a credible news agency.
