To connect the two in any way is an attempt mitigate the effect and validity of the Tea Party, a shallow behavior. While I'm not a member of the Tea Party, I think an attempt to compare them to Tim McVeigh is disingenuous at best and pretty insulting to the memories of those who died in OKC.

I would think jihadist could access a higher grade of explosives.

I'm thinking angry young white dudes, black powder or Pyrodex, bought at a Wal-mart or similar store.
