If editor, I'd have put up a trio, Loughner, Holmes and Lanza.

Christina Aguilera.....is one of the most influential people?

Top 100?

Obama voters probably decided this.

Christina.....Aguilera?

What in the world?

How's his father tainted? I'd've voted for the father.

Agree, some on the list make it somewhat frivolous.

Michele Obama? What's she done, gone from boob belts to bangs?

The most important thing is that we now have two current advocates for liberty as household names Rand and his father. The impact they have on college campuses has been very noticeable. What sort of impact they have elsewhere remains to be seen, but this is further evidence that they are having some kind of an impact.

His father never cooperated a bit with the Republican party he seems to move in and out of.

We might not be suffering Obama had Ron Paul STFU these past ten years, and helped rather than whinging and puling.

I find him to be a POS.

He never accomplished anything except repelling people from the GOP.

I despise him and all the RINOs too.

Sounds like he's not Republican enough for you. What, not a fiscal conservative? That to me is why Reps and Dems are indistinguishable.

If Rand Paul ran, we would get on the record just who are statists and who support liberty.

I am not a Republican, but if I ran for nomination as a Republican and failed, I would not petulantly accept a 3rd party nomination, and then seek the Republican nomination again in another election.

That makes one a self-serving SOB, IMNSHO.

IOW, it has nothing to do with his message. It wasn't selfish.

Like his father, and never get the Rep nomination because the wheat of liberty is overpowered by the chaff of statism.

That does seem to be what the majority want.

It's always funny to watch Republicans. In the run up to any election they start libertarian and then turn social con and neocon right before the election. When libertarians argue, Reps argue you must vote the lesser of two evils. The lip service is tiresome. Time to break up the duopoly--join a tea party!

I was making the point that all she is....is a popular Diva. What in the world makes her influential?
