It's basically a 19 year old over achieving kid who was raised by two women. The kid is an engineering student at the U of Iowa, an Eagle Scout, runs his own business...in short everything you'd hope for in a kid. He's saying that his parents did a great job while still being realistic about the troubles they face. One of his mothers has MS, for example. I don't think the argument should be about the quality of children raised though, because he's just one child and no doubt there are many more who are screw ups, just like the children of straight couples. I will say I do think gays should be allowed to adopt and by virtue of that, should be allowed to enter into civil unions that are viewed by government agencies as just as valid as marriages. I have always been against the government and religion overlap that marriage is, but I can't get into it right now since I'm trying to keep my soup from boiling over. :grin:
