Maybe it’s because the IER divided the $26 billion spent on “green jobs” by the Energy Department since 2009, divided it by the 2,298 permanent jobs created, and came up with a cost of $11.45 million per job.
Ah, the miracle of Obamanomics! At those prices, we could easily restore the 5 million jobs blown out of the economy since 2009 (http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2012/02/09/dont-be-fooled-the-obama-unemployment-rate-is-11/) by spending a mere $57 trillion.

It is a money laundering and giving money to supporters scheme. We know this because the head of Solyndra was a campaign fund bundler for Obama.

At the cost per job created I would like to volunter to accept one of the jobs at half price and sacrifice myself for my country. It just doesn't get more patriotic than that.

It is strange to see, that even with all the crying they did about GWB, and the fact that they still blame the apparently most powerful President there ever was, or everything!

That they are so sensitive if anyone has issues with Obamas policies! Even though the stats show that he is an almost total failure!

They spent years telling us that the economy under Bush was a disaster, and yet it would take decades at this rate to return to the worst economy of the Bush term!

Some one had some numbers on job creation under Obama cost $11.5 million per job. I would be willing to make the sacrifice and take one of the jobs at 1/2 price. I am a real patriot. I am 70 still working and paying taxes and found out that my 6 years in the TEXARNG during the 60's does not qualify me for any veterans benefits. If I am an illegal I qualify for a lot of good stuff. What a great life we have under Obama.
