I don't really know how they come up with those percentages but there's a lot of football left to be played. If the Jets go 4-1 that would put them at 10 - 6 which would probably be enough. The other issues are tiebreakers with teams with identical records but that is impossible to figure out this early.

I think they have a decent shot that's why I was surprised by the 75%. Maybe thhe think the comiong mtachups are bad for the Jets. Not sure

Maybe, but that schedule looks about as easy as one could get over the end of the season. Injuries play a big role too and those are impossible to project. The good news and what matters is that they are just one game out of the wild card.

Mister D
12-02-2011, 01:48 PM
That's what I thought. The schedule looks doable. They play the Giants. That game could be great if they both have still have a chance by then.

Not if Martz pulls another stunt like he did last weekend. This guy is not the answer to any team. He should never be given another head coach job. Nothing more than an offensive coordinator. In which the head coach upon seeing a stupid play being sent out. Should be ready to call a time out and get that play changed. Basically over=ruling Martz and telling him to STFU! Any word on where McNabb will go.

Conley
12-02-2011, 07:14 PM
Nope, McNabb cleared waivers. I'm surprised no one took a flyer on him. He's a free agent now and can sign with any team. With all the injuries at qb he might end up somewhere.

Did you see The Bears tried to get Orton but KC got him because they had the worse record. Would have been interesting if he ended up back in ChiTown.

MMC
12-02-2011, 07:19 PM
Actually we were told Dallas would have first choice over Bears. That they would have done something due to the Wild-Card. Even to prevent Da Bears from getting Orton.

MMC
12-03-2011, 12:52 AM
Its funny you mention that.....considering this is McNabbs home town. Funny thing the one Guy I actually do see all the time. Is McNabbs Cousin. I actually think McNabb would be better off in Chicago. That he could fit into their scheme of playing smashmouth football.

But I doubt he will come here as a back-up. Unless Martz Takes JC with him. Now that I could go for.

MMC
12-03-2011, 09:53 AM
Da Bears signed Earl Bennett to a 4 year Contract.....Bet JC had to do something with that. Bennet has averaged 17yards per reception since his return from his Chest Injury. I don't think Da Bears needed to give him a 4 year. He's not that good. But at least he will go over the middle and take the hit. I would have went only 2 years and keep the money for something else.

They should be thinking about Forte First!

I got Da Bears and KC early up.....wonder if they will start Orton against Da Bears. Orton needs to remember most of those guys on defense werent around when he was. Cept for some of the line backers and DB's. Tillman and Cousins.

Temps rolled up into the 50's but it rained heavy last night. Plus there are high wind gusts. They are expecting more rain off and on too.

Da Bears are done with this Season. Forte out for 2-4 weeks. lose two easy games all due to Martz and his inability to understand the dynamics of the game. Fricken Douche should have been fired after what he pulled today. Despite Forte going down. Barber was running all over them. But nooooooo. Martz cant understand how to control a football game. Can we please get rid of all the loser Coaches on Da Bears. NOW!

Just woke up after my four hours.....so who won this GB giants game?

Mister D
12-04-2011, 08:14 PM
Giants lost by a FG in the last few seconds. They played a great game.

Isn't it a little risky to catch the ball 6 yards deep in the endzone on a kickoff and decide to return it?

I got the Lions and Saint on now. 3-0 Saints. Lions were driving then they stalled.

I'm hoping the Lions make this a game.

It's early yet but the Saints look like they are going to dominate.

Yeah thats it.....can't give up 17 points to the Saints and not even score. If Da Bears had a chance. It would be good that the Lions lose with them. But it won't matter now. Da Bears should have picked up McNabb I think he could fit in with a Smashmouth football Team. Course with Martz being there it won't happen. Though right now the Radio Station peeps want Martz's head on a platter. People wants his azz fired, gone, benched to the lockerroom.

One caller asked why he couldnt be put on injured reserve, For it was obvious that Martz has a head injury.

Lions have started moving the ball. That was a good drive.

24-7 Saints.....yep Detroits moving the ball but going nowheres fast. looks Like it will be the Saints and Packers for the NFC Championship baring no mishaps thru the Playoffs.

"When we [lost] our quarterback, we're like, 'OK, we'll be fine.' Then we lose our star of the team, star of the offense. That's tough, " said Roy Williams. "[Forte's] our screen guy. He leads the team in receptions. He's a versatile back, top-three back in the league. When he goes down, it's tough to fill those shoes. This offense runs through him."

Ouch! Guess that says who the best player on O is, and it's not JC

Conley

Dallas looks like crap but at least they didn't lose their #1 QB and RB. Is JC definitely out the rest of the regular season?

MMC
12-05-2011, 10:09 AM
If he wasnt.....we know how he will play it now. Not having Forte. But I think he will nurse it now. Forte may even do so since he wants more money. Briggs wants more to or he wants to be traded. Its like I said from the beginning of this season. Way back in all of our earlier threads. Da Bears organization is in trouble.

Hanie and Martz don't really get along. Martz criticized his pre-season. Wish Da Bears would pick up McNabb. Force Martz to play smashmouth thru McNabb. plus there would be a QB that could call that Audible and send Martz's pass Play back to the sideline. 4 and 1 and he is throwing the ball. 2nd and 1 on the six and he is throwing the ball.

When ya got them reeling and they cannot stop the run. Pound it out on them. Their putting up a goaline defense. You run over them and score.....takes them down a notch or two. Other team starts hanging their heads and giving that mopeless look on the sideline like plese end this game and let me get to the lockerrooom. Next week anything but here.

Conley

It's not over yet man! All they need is to get into the playoffs and then with JC and Forte back they could get on a roll. No one in the NFC looks that good besides GB and NO.

Hester says the team doesn't want McNabb. I agree with him. This article says Favre would listen, but no way will the Bears call. I think they're stuck with Hanie for now. QBs have a hard time learning Martz's system, it seems like it takes a long time to get it.

Did you know the Chargers drafted Drew Brees, the QB for New Orleans? He played here for a while but didn't have much success. Obviously now we know it was the organization...he's on pace to shatter records this year. Ahead of even the homeless suer!

Mister D
12-05-2011, 08:24 PM
There are plenty of homeless people in New Orelans and Brees is a great QB. It's only a matter of time. That said, there really do seem to be a lot internal issues with the Chargers, huh?

Not realistically. They're 2 1/2 games behind at least two teams with five to play I believe.

If they win tonight 2 back with 4 to go. That's tough to make up against one team, much less two.

Good news.....Da Bears are in talks with Donovan McNabb. Inquiry only, more than likely if something was to cause Hanie or another to go down. According to Dopey Smith he says they sticking with what they got.

Vick is suppose to return to play against Miami this week. Even going to practice this week.

SD wins and breaks losing streak. Right for the end of season again. Watch them damn near win out.

9-6 this week.
