Since the president and the head of the IRS seem to have been oblivious to the scandal, maybe we should ignore them as irrelevant and simply make the case against the agency.

Since the IRS abused citizens using its law enforcement powers, we should cut their appropriations by 50% for three years.

After a few such examples, agencies will be very difficult for ideologues to hijack.

Care to give us an example of "who" was "abused" and "what" actual "crime" was committed?

Also, maybe if the Ohio staff wasn't already cut 50% and with a flood of Tea Party Groups looking for "free" advertisement, there wouldn't be a Republican Make-Believe scandal.

Also ... you may want to do some checking ... The President of The United States don't hire the people responsible.

The head of the IRS admitted there was wrongdoing, the President has admitted wrongdoing, and various Congress members are saying wrongdoing (Dems and Repubs), but you think everything is ok?

The president is responsible for everything that happens in his administration, just like you guys held Bush responsible for Katrina and 9/11 and any thing else you could think of.

When did the IRS become a Cabinet Position?

Now Homeland Security .... :)

I still can't understand why Obama can't just say he made a mistake and accept responsibility. If he did the issue would just go away.

Because this "mistake" is criminal and impeachable.
