I am not shocked that we see the CIA Deputy Director standing down as the Snowden storm begins to gather. The Snowden evidence is going to make the cowards at the CIA all want to run and hide under their beds.
Morell did the final edit of the controversial "talking points" memo meant to describe to the public what happened in that attack. Emails exchanged by administration officials that week show Morell deleted references to the CIA warning the State Department of previous militant attacks in Benghazi.
U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice used those notes on Sunday talk shows, triggering a controversy in which House Republicans accuse the administration of covering up any connections to terror groups in the attack during the presidential campaign.

Susan Rice got a promotion out of the Benghazi scandal so I guess maybe I should be surprised that Morell is standing down. He seems very loyal.
I wonder if Morell has deleted anything before he left. Sounds like Snowden knows and has all that he needs. I think Morell may be in the headlines again which is a shame for him since he has now decided that now is the time to end his career and spend more time with his family.
Wouldnt it be nice to be an above the law CIA overlord that can retire at 54? Is Morell Greek or something? And who retires in the middle of the year in the middle of an investigation into former CIA freak Petraeus? And in the middle of the biggest international scandal to rock the CIA ever? He is leaving his fellow workers at a very difficult time. Couldnt he have stayed on until the end of the year for the sake of the CIA and his fellow workers? Leaving at a time like this is very weak.
