Republican voters have an unfavorable view of their party in Congress, according to a new survey from Public Policy Polling.
The poll found that overall, only 24 percent of voters approve of the job congressional Republicans are doing, compared with 67 percent who disapprove. That's down from a 25-68 approval split in May.

And what's really dragging down their approval rating is an unfavorable view from voters in their own party. Only 40 percent of Republican voters approve of their representatives in Congress, compared with 51 percent who disapprove.

Independents also disapprove of Republicans in Congress by a 61-24 split, which helps President Barack Obama maintain a significant, 8-point edge over Republicans on the question of who voters "trust" more.

Public Policy Polling (PPP) is a U.S. polling firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina.[1] PPP was founded in 2001 by businessman Dean Debnam, the firm's current president and Chief Executive Officer.[2]
PPP is described as one of the "most accurate" polling companies[3][4] and as a "Democratic-leaning"[5] polling company because in its private client work, it conducts polls only for Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations.
The company is known for asking unexpected and unusual questions, including those without bearing on politics, such as the approval rating of God,[6] whether voters believe President Obama would be eligible to enter heaven in the event of the Rapture[7] and whether hipstersshould be subjected to a special tax for being annoying.[8] Many of these questions come from suggestions by PPP readers on the company's blog.

No but as his approval continues to declin and the economy is still in slow growth at best it makes it highly likey that the time for a conservative has come again!

The GOP has run RINOs in that last 2 elections it is likely that a moderate has little chance, and the backlash from things like immigration is going to be fresh on the minds of republican canidates!

It is time for another Reagan type canidate!

The poll shows that the people fo the country have grown tired of democratic lies and policies!

Republican Congressmen spend more time betraying Republican voters than Democrat Congressmen spend time betraying Democrat voters. But, the blame lays with the Republican voters who prefer traitors like McCain over conservatives like Ron Paul.

They are all pretty much the same. Cigar, have you thought about setting up your repetitive and lame comebacks as macros?

It's not like he'd ever create a useless thread about a Right-commissioned poll result. ; )

Cigar isn't used to a party where absolute bended-knee subservience isn't mandatory. He's so used to kissing President Obama and Rep. Pelosi's asses that he's not aware not everyone does that.
