Joey Chestnut has downed 69 franks and devoured his own record in the annual Coney Island hot dog eating contest.The San Jose, Calif., man known as Jaws scarfed down the dogs and buns to win the Fourth of July men's contest. He takes home $10,000 and a mustard-yellow champion's belt.

His woman is 16 yrs older than him, and she ate 37 hotdogs. While she might be attractive now, someone needs to warn him.

I just don't see how a person can do this. It would be hard for me to eat one and I don't eat them.

I could easily eat 6 or 8, but 69? No.....Though I prefer chili dogs over Coneys.

Then again, for ten grand, hmmm.....

Then again, for ten grand, hmmm..... I like hotdogs without the dog. Chili only and bun but still couldn't win with one hundred grand on the line.

Hmmm, I bet that's pretty good. Some of the veggie dogs are pretty good too.

The one (and only, as far as I'm concerned) good thing about living in Ohio near Cincinnati is Skyline Coneys. Soft bun, juicy dog, lots of chili and cheese (and mustard and onions if you like them). mmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMM

Im in NKY and worked in a gold star for four years in HS. I'm a skyline fan now. Love the chilitos they have.

Funny thing about OH/NKY chili joints....there are Skyline fans, and there are Gold Star fans....most people don't like both.

They actually train for these food contests, they stretch their stomachs and practice techniques that allow them to eat faster and more. Theres a tiny oriental female thats a champion you cant believe what the little thing can put down her throat.
