How you gonna fault a man from believing in family and furthering his bloodline.....Pen? At least we know one thing. There is nothing wrong with one having a big family! She should be proud as a Mother and a breast cancer survivor. I think she also has something to with MS or Alzheimers. I remember Romney saying he worried that she would be diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs disease.

No one can take away anything from Romney as a family man. He has been with the same woman since High school. He may be a Mormon. But in this and his relationship with his wife. It's Rock Solid!!!!!

 Good point. Don't have the kids unless you can support them.

Mitt Romney has picked up a major, if still unofficial, endorsement in his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.

George H.W. Bush with Mitt Romney and Barbara Bush earlier this month (Pat Sullivan/AP

Former President George H.W. Bush told the Houston Chronicle he believes Romney is the best candidate (http://us.lrd.yahoo.com/SIG=149v87hfl/EXP=1326200055/**http%3A//blog.chron.com/rickperry/2011/12/bush-41-backs-romney-for-president-admits-hes-not-gingrichs-biggest-advocate/) in the race—though he stopped short of officially endorsing his 2012 bid.

"I think Romney is the best choice for us," Bush told the Houston Chronicle. "I like Perry, but he doesn't seem to be going anywhere; he's not surging forward."

Yet Bush wasn't nearly as kind about Newt Gingrich, admitting that he knows the former House speaker well and isn't a fan. "I'm not his biggest advocate," he said.....snip~

There it is if Perry would have been able to do something then the Blue bloods would have went with him. Since he isn't appealing to the American People. The Neo-Cons will be endorsing Romney! Which means he will get the backing from Rove and the rest of them. This marks the shot across the bow for Perkins and the Heritage Foundation. Now who will the Southern Cons go with? Polls won't help Gingrich now.

Gingrich is toast and that photo is hilariously awkward! Couldn't they at least give Romney a chair that fit?

I wonder if the Secret Service has to scoop poop from those little rugrats...

While McCain and Rommey never became close friends, their relationship has gradually become less chilly over the years—enough so that McCain backed off his pledge to stay neutral in this year's Republican presidential race and endorsed Romney on Wednesday.

There was still some awkwardness. Making their entrance to Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone"--a mainstay of the McCain '08 soundtrack--Romney waved as McCain threw several thumbs up to supporters. At one point, McCain gave Romney a half man-hug and then stood idly by for nearly eight minutes as Romney gave an abbreviated version of his stump speech.
When he finally spoke, McCain said he was endorsing Romney because he was the best candidate in the race.

But McCain's endorsement could also play well in South Carolina, a state McCain won in 2008 and votes on Jan. 21, right after New Hampshire. McCain is scheduled to travel with Romney to South Carolina on Thursday and Friday.

Perhaps the most notable thing about McCain's endorsement wasn't that he backed Romney but rather that he snubbed Jon Huntsman. The former Utah governor was one of McCain's earliest backers in 2008 and has largely modeled his 2012 bid off McCain's '08 operation.....snip~

The Ticket (http://thepoliticalforums.com/blogs/ticket/) – 2 hrs 19 mins ago.....<<<<< More Here!

McCain said he wasnt going to endorse anyone this year. Now he comes out and endorses Romney and plans to go to So. Carolina with him. McCain snubs Huntsman who most of that staff worked for McCain. Plus Johnny Quest still seems to be forgetting what he just said to reporters not more than 10 days ago. Although he had said whoever was the nominee he would support whomever over Obama as he fears now more than ever with Obama getting a second term.

I woder how the mcCain endorsement will play out.. remember McCain picked Palin as his
VP so I question his judgement a little bit.. true McCain is a powerful endorsement in the political arena but....He also has a lot of baggage.

he flip flops almost as much as Ronmey does on certain issues,,illlegal Immigration is the main issue

Yeah, I don't think of McCain as having nearly the same amount of respect he did even five years ago. His more recent record hasn't been as solid and seems a lot of Republicans blame him for handing the election to Obama with his terrible campaign.

personally I don't think McCain ran a campaign , I think he gave it a token effort and helped to elect Americas first black president.. it was all show and no substance.

I think a lot of people feel that way, so I'm not sure what impact McCain's endorsement will have. Plus McCain waited until it's all but assured that Romney will be the candidate anyway. Seems like a move to put McCain in the spotlight and win some points with the future nominee. Romney's not going to turn it down of course but I don't think it does much for him.

McCain was just a bad candidate and who blamed his lack of a campaign on Palin.

That really lowered my opinion of McCain the man. I already thought McCain the candidate was a gibbering old fool.

He only grows a pair when you put them in a vice or in certain situations.

He's pretty bland after that which I think is what turns a lot of conservatives off.
