Seems the pressure of being the least liked congress in history is starting to takes it toll on some republicans back in their districts.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) is trying to contain a GOP rebellion on spending levels, a struggle that has major implications for budget negotiations this fall.

The Republicans who voted yes include four lawmakers who voted to approve the bill in the Senate Appropriations Committee last month, even though McConnell explicitly urged them not to break the BCA’s spending levels.

This is really a common-sense jobs bill, a bill that we used to do all the time. So it’s a shame that instead of focusing on the middle class, our colleagues in the House are obsessed with appeasing the Tea Party,” he said.

That doesn't work. Incumbency carries too much advantage.

We have term limits for the POTUS. We need them for the Congress and courts as well.

McConnell is facing a primary from his right flank from what I hear. Look for that to make him go even further to the right and become even more obstructionist.

He also wrote to the football and baseball commissioners to threaten them if they allowed their players to participate in the types of public service announcements that romney did when he rolled out romneycare.

cause you know, why let people know what's the law really does?

the obstructionists thrive in chaos.

Large print doesn't make your rants any more credible, common. Nor does endorsement by Jillian the lover of failed liberal ideas.

Sorry.

The house is in chaos and its coming out now. Pat Toomey says he doesnt trust Paul Ryan to be conservative enough on the budget LMAO. The division in the house is absurd
They do nothing to do the people business the only thing they do is try to repeal bills endlessly and they have failed EVERY TIME, other republicans are sick and tired of the far rights posturing. Thats all they do is run their mouths and do nothing, alot like a couple of the far righters on here that never had an original thought
The far right is losing long time republicans and other republicans are aware of it. Polls indicate even republican voters are sick and tired of teaparty antics

A 30 second public service announcement is enough time to let people know what the law really does? Or is enough time to push your sides ( both left and right, not yours personally) propaganda?
