No sweep to the opposite side of Jared so that they can make JARED do a little huffing and pufffing. Screen, sweep, sweep again. 6 or 7 of these play in a row and JARED is over on the sidelines getting some friggin oxygen for the next two or three plays. :grin:

Truly it does not make any sense at all. Knowing the situation they are in. This goes to show you that Martz will cripple his own team. Knowing people don't want him. Which is Why I say they should have cut ties earlier. One has a head Coach and since the team isn going to the post season. Then he could call whateever offensive plays to finish out the season. You must stand corrected, the Steelers won SBXL from the wild card spot, first time in NFL history.

Redman (fumbalina) is Mendy's backup. He hasn't fumbled all year, twice today though. He'll be fine, the running game isn't much in this years playbook so much. Mendy was a few yards short of 1k this year but he's hit it pretty consistently throughout his career. Redman will be fine, he's a solid back.

They picked up a guy from the practice squad last week - Clay, you might have seen him later in the game. His first carry last week was a 4 (or something like that) yard TD run. Big guy, 250 lbs. Mewlede Moore isn't a pushover either, the running game will be ok if Mendy's out. That's not my biggest worry.

A healthy Ben, Pouncy and Woodley who missed the last 6 out of 8 games or something like that with a "severe hamstring" is my biggest worry.

As far as Tebow goes. I would give the Rookie Credit if he was really that good. But he is not. KC showed all what happens once you pressure Tebow. So all that useless talk about teams not knowing how to approach playing Tebow. Is nothing more than a crock of shit. If anything McCoy should have got more notoriety than Tebow as McCoy was another Rookie who given a Team. But he won't because it is Cleveland. Just looking at Cam Newton. He is bigger, Stronger, faster than Tebow. He can run the ball better than Tebow and he has the bigger arm over Tebow. Yet just like Tebow. Can't read defenses. Can't get timing patterns down. Hence all that useless chatter about Tebow.

That was given the Hiesman Trophy. Just Like Grossman was. I don't care much for Jimmy Johnson. But his assessment of Tebow was dead-on! Even Playing conservatively Tebow still throws the interception. So, even while protected by an Offensive Co-ordinator.

I like Tebow but if you look at his numbers he's not even an average QB. He is way below average. He also has a lost fumble in something like five straight games. The victories he was a part of were a combo of luck / bad plays by the other team (Barber) a great defense, and Willis McGahee's running.

Like Ditka says rookies need to learn about understanding the pocket to be complete just starting off. Been very few that have been able to pull it off. But nothing is surprising about rookies running the ball. At this point it is all they got, which cannot be really keyed on.

Yeah this is his first year.....which is why all those Analysts need to drop it. Like you said after a couple years playing then thy will know all about him. Instead of talking all this speculation bullshit. Then to top it off with a spot as an alternate to the Pro-Bowl.

If I was some players that have been in a few years and havent gone to the Pro-bowl I would be pist to watch them give such to a Rookie. Which is why they have a Rookie of the Year Award. Which I havent heard Tebows name being mentioned for that.

All of it reminds me of when Grossmen came into the league. Heisman trophy winner. Knocking a Starter QB out and taking a team. Then the realization in the second year and what a mistake it all was. Then the trade comes.

Like Brees at least Tebow seems to have a good attitude and a strong work ethic. Then there are guys on the other side, like Jamarcus Russell, who was said to be one of the laziest players ever. It's tough to tell at this early stage.
