New to the forum.

Not allowed to PM apparently. Just checking to see if posting a new thread has better luck....

Perhaps your account wasn't yet activated. I can't find any reason why you shouldn't be able to PM. When did you last try?

Yeah. That's Max. Very cool dog. Pretty much went everywhere with me (had his own spot in the cab of the truck)

Passed away a couple of weeks ago at 14.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your buddy Max. It hurts to lose a friend like him.

Thanks. For the last six months or so i had to pick his lazy butt up and set him in the back of the truck cab whenever we went anywhere. Pretty sure he could have jumped in himself like the old days if he wanted. He just finally figured out if he sat there staring at me with those woeful eyes, i would eventually lift him in and save him the trouble (that wily rascal).

Anyhoo. Stopped by the Humane Society earlier today and checked out the current crew of inmates. Suspect we will be adopting one in the not to distant future...
