I turned on Fox. Bachmann is in dead last. She had won the straw poll earlier this year.

Not Putin! He's already tired with it!

I wonder why Bachmann plummeted the way she did. I mean she's always been on the fringe, but she had the popularity at least briefly.

I was watching it on MSLSD while making dinner. Rachel (a.k.a.) "Paul" Maddow is strangely attractive.

I imagine that the Fundies felt that she and Santorum were = in their minds, but that Santorum would reach a wider audience. Hence they dumped her like a used condom.

I wouldn't hit that on a drunken bet.

See I wonder how much Perry and Gingrich took away from Paul. Bachmann proves she is the joke of the GOP all along! Does this mean Palin will come back as the Queen of the Tea Party for their future. Also will Bachmann now have to give up her Congressional Seat?

Perry said tonight in his concession speech after his fifth place showing in the Iowa caucuses, he will leave the campaign trail and return to Austin, Texas, to take a few days off to assess the results and "determine if there is a path forward for myself in this race.".....snip~

Bachmann says she is headed to NH. Even tho she finished last and has no money. So who is paying for this cost?

Why would Bachmann lose her spot in Congress?

I can't believe Perry isn't conceding after this performance.

Thanks for the update Wing, that's wild stuff. Took the votes home with them, haha. Oh Iowa.

Fox is now saying Romney won by eight votes. Hmm.

Confirmed Romney winner with 8 votes and Iowa is saying there will be no recount.....Paul finished 3rd. Perry is reassessing basically because he has no op in NH. Bachmann says she will go to NH as well.

Huntsman has had a full week in NH over all else and has put his whole card all on NJ.

Once again the Media is barely mentioning Paul. That being said. Paul is to old to be the President. Personally I do not think he would be able to handle the stress. Look at what it did to Bush and Obama.

Another reason I don't believe in the Iowa Caucuses is due to the fact they can Switch their votes and even change party. So I don't trust any numbers coming out of Iowa.

Although in Santorium's Victory Speech he slighted NH by not mentioning them and when he did it was last. Plus he is going to say game on? How so? Where does he go now and where does he get the money.

Conley

I don't think there's any way to look at these results and not see a big blow to the Paul campaign. He needed a strong showing and had put in a lot of time in Iowa. I am disappointed and admittedly a little surprised he did so poorly compared to Santorum. Losing to Romney I can understand, but Santorum? That's a kick in the junk.

The final tally. Still do not know why Iowa would not have a recount. 8 votes is way within the margin to do so. Anybody else got any idea as to why not recount?
