Doctors’ incomes would change little, though the disparity in income between specialties would shrink. The need for a “wallet biopsy” before treatment would be eliminated; time currently wasted on administrative duties could be channeled into providing care; and clinical decisions would no longer be dictated by insurance company policy.

The massive numbers of administrative personnel needed to handle itemized billing to thousands of private insurance plans would no longer be needed. A negotiated “global budget” would cover operating expenses. Budgets for capital would be allocated separately based on health care priorities. Hospitals would no longer close because of unpaid bills.

Obama Care will cause up to 65 million (http://waysandmeans.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=294468) of the working middle class with good company sponsored health care plans to be tossed into the crappy plans of the exchanges. My Ex works for Wally World, been there a long time. She pay $400 a month with a $20 co-pay for everything except for $50 for ER and $100 for Hospitalization and she's done, NO additional cost. There isn't a plan in the exchanges that comes close even with the subsidies.

Even the Platinum Plan doesn't come close. According to the rate calculator (http://www.coveredca.com/calculating_the_cost.html) at her income level approx $41,000 her estimated monthly premium would be $586 a month without subsidy for the SILVER PLAN. Now look up at the chart above at coverage for the silver plan. With the Government $260 subsidy it would be $326 a month. The coverages are no where near what she was getting through the huge group of her company sponsored plan. That's IF the Government doesn't start dropping the subsidy little by little, shifting more an more cost to her. There is no platinum plan rate calculator, only silver. How happy is she going to be when for $74 a month less she get that much less for the money? Now multiply her by up to 65 million others in her place and you can envision the "train wreck" Max Baucus (D) spoke of. I say let 'er rip. The Republicans only need 14 out of the 21 Democrat seat up in the Senate and 27 more in the House to get an Obama Veto proof majority. Considering the Democrats lost 69 seats in Congress for just voting Obama Care into law, when it belly flops into up to 65 Million People's lives (http://waysandmeans.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=294468) that could lose their Employer-Sponsored Coverage........well it ain't looking to good for Democrats in 2014.
