Guess the phony scandals really helped to bring the President's approvals down.

Who said the phony scandals were "trivial"?

Too much shrieking and whining on either side always has the opposite effect after awhile, people get sick of hearing it over and over ad nauseum.
An admitted teaparty hard right conservative in the VFW yesterday said this to me. If the republicans dont get off this GDed Obamacare repeal thing and DO SOMETHING they are going to get their ass kicked. He may or may not be wrong, remains to be seen.

What phony scandals?

And once we un-cherry pick Rasmussen as an anomaly, we get:

Chris, I will accept that those that President Obama calls "his media" can have an effect on public perception of the poor fellow. The liberals are delighted the IRS can target citizens and groups based on political affiliation as long as it isn't them. Liberals are delighted with Fast and Furious since the people being killed aren't them. Liberals are delighted with anything that promotes government power so the NSA eavesdropping is okay with them. Government bureaucrats pleading the fifth to avoid criminal sanctions and using aliases to avoid Freedom of Information Act requests are okay with liberals, as long as there is a liberal Democrat in the White House. And constant lying to the people is a perfectly valid strategy for the left.

So, if some flake wants to do a little victory dance because the poor fellow shot up to 50%, that's fine.

Strange but true: Rasmussen is still the FOX pollster, and has been - according to tea baggers - the only viable pollster.

Well, until they blamed Scotty for their 2012 debacle.

But not to worry Scotty, they still love you!

Right, we get it, paul, what you agree with is serious and what you disagree with silly. Those are really great, intelligent, articulate, rational arguments.
