Less than half of Americans trust the government to handle problems, a all-time low, according to a new poll.Just 49 percent of Americans said they had a great deal or fair amount of confidence in the federal government to handle international problems, according to a Gallup poll (http://www.gallup.com/poll/164393/fewer-americans-ever-trust-gov-handle-problems.aspx)released Friday. The previous low was 51 percent in 2007.

The public’s trust is even lower when it comes to domestic issues. Just 42 percent of Americans answered with a great deal or fair amount of confidence in the government to handle issues at home, one point below the previous low from 2011.

Why should we trust a regime that started with the promise to destroy the country and fundamentally change it to what a few want?

er... congress is what they don't trust... thanks to the teatard obstructionists.

A
mericans' confidence in Congress has fallen to an all-time low, according to a Gallup poll (http://www.gallup.com/poll/163052/americans-confidence-congress-falls-lowest-record.aspx)released Friday.
In the survey, only 10 percent of respondents said they had a "great deal" or "quite a lot" of confidence in the legislature, down from 13 percent the year before. It's also the lowest level Gallup has found since the firm began polling the question in 1973.

You sound like Obama. The president has veto power so to say Obama has no responsibility here is disingenuous and shows how you protect your messiah.

You seem to ignore how Obama's approval rating is dropping

Ahh Jillian, my little liberal waif. Allow me to educate you. The purpose of the opposition is not to "sit at the table and negotiate" as it is impossible to negotiate with the enemy! the objective is to destroy Liberals and liberalism.

Busted again for misrepresenting your source. It doesn't say the low rating is due to your inflammatory "teatard obstructionists." No, it says:

The primary cause for Congress' dismal approval rating: Partisan bickering and legislative gridlock. According to another recent Gallup survey, six in ten Americans who disapproved of Congress cited that body's ineffectiveness as the main reason they gave it low marks.

Don't you even read your sources?
