In what tea party groups are calling a "battle to save America from the Obamacare 'train wreck,'" Republican lawmakers plan to appear at a Capitol Hill rally on Sept. 10 to promote a proposal to defund the Affordable Care Act.

Republican senators Rand Paul (Ky.), Mike Lee (Utah) and Ted Cruz (Tex.) will headline the "Exempt America Tour" rally (http://www.exemptamerica.com/) on the West Lawn as a culmination of a five-day tour of six states. The tour, which will kick off in Kentucky on Tuesday, is sponsored by seven tea party groups, including Tea Party Patriots and For America.

Is this Gang of Three the new representatives of the Tea Party Patriots? Could these guys form the core of a breakaway renegade Tea Party Patriot Party? A real independent Tea Party?

Mike Lee, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are at least pretending to do what they were elected to do in trying to fight Obamacare.

What do you guys think of Mike Lee and Ted Cruz?

Harry Reid refused to agree to Ted Cruzs ideas to take a Government Shutdown off the table the other day. If a Government Shutdown does occur then it will be the fault of the democrats.

I like Mike Lee a lot. Ted Cruz is married to a VP at Goldman Sachs. Could be opposites attract or he could be just another bankster whore in disguise. I'll hold out hope he's the real deal.

Thanks. I dont know much about either.

I saw Mike Lee talking about how politicians should at least read the things they vote on. He seemed like a kinda genuine guy.

Mike Lee.
