Last Week, rather than support a true conservative, Ted Cruz, in hist effort to defund Obamacare, the other Texas' senator John Cornyn showed the colors of a career politician more afraid of the media than in standing up for what he was elected to do, which was uphold the Constitution. Instead, he stood with moderate do-nothings like Mitch McConnell and bad mouthed Cruz for taking action in his attempt to stop this horrible piece of legislation.

I hope all fellow Texas patriots will remember Cornyn's betrayal when the 2014 elections come around -- That Texans will replace him with a true conservative. Moreover, I hope all long-term GOP career politicians who talk a good game, but are more concerned with what the media says than in fighting for the Constitution be replaced in every state.

The Tea Party is our last hope in preventing socialism!

Why I'm Running

I’m running to serve, and I mean that in the old fashioned patriotic sense of the word. During my military career, I learned one thing above all else – serving others is more important than being served.
Our founding fathers envisioned a Senate where citizens, steeped in local values and rooted in real life experience, served with focus and commitment. Today, too many of the individuals we send to Washington have become career politicians – more interested in playing politics than finding solutions. I’m running for US Senate because our country is in grave trouble. We’re in trouble because we have strayed away from the very principles that the country was founded on. If elected, I will be a strong advocate for limited government, less spending, lower taxes, individual liberty, and preserving the Constitution.
