1. Emails about topics like Occupy Wall Street, 9/11, the USA Patriot Act, Citizens United v. FEC, AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA), the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), the Protect IP Act (PIPA) and the Enemy Expatriation Act (EEA) are being blocked by Network Solutions, Verizon and other ISPs using Barracuda, Cloudmark Authority and other Internet censorship systems euphemistically referred to as "spam filters". The 99% can use the same weapon against the 1%: Whenever you receive emails from corrupt corporations - such as those listed at http://contractormisconduct.org - flag them as spam and report them to your ISP.

2. Your Twitter "tweets" about topics like Occupy Wall Street, 9/11, the USA Patriot Act, Citizens United v. FEC, AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA), the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), the Protect IP Act (PIPA) and the Enemy Expatriation Act (EEA) may be blocked from the Twitter search stream without your knowledge. To find out, make a posting with a popular #hashtag, log out of Twitter, clear your "cookies" then close and restart your web browser. Before logging back in, search Twitter - https://twitter.com/#!/search-home - on your #hashtag and see if your tweet is listed. ( Note that these are generalized instructions: Use your judgment. )

3. Your Facebook postings, YouTube comments, other social media posts and online news article and blog comments about topics like Occupy Wall Street, 9/11, the USA Patriot Act, Citizens United v. To find out if you are being censored, bookmark your page and log out after you post, clear your "cookies" then close and restart your web browser. Before logging back in, use your bookmark to reload and refresh the page where you posted or commented, and see if your posting is still there. 4. Although our kleptocracy-chronicling links are still there, our Reddit page - http://www.reddit.com/user/vvvpr - has been blocked, most likely due to corporate fascist pressure being applied from outside or above, although I'm sure they'll claim it was due to a TOS (terms of service) violation. Chris Dodd, ex D from Conn has become a big time lobbyist and is threatening to cut off the Hollywood money unless these senators and reps pass a new bill letting them shutdown any site they want. Even a site like ours could be shut down if it links to a football game, for example.

I thougth he had to wait a year before he could become a lobbyist. Why won't American Citizens step up and catch these dipshits in Washington after they have retired and run their azzes out of town? I'm sorry he is nothing more than a private Citizen and he should be able to be confronted. Bet he can be made an offer to step out of the lime light and Washington. These people need to be confronted on the streets and wherever they go. Life needs to be made so difficult for them that they are left with no alternative but to be put out to pasture.

Because it is sure a strange coincidincy that Dodd gets handed this postion.....when he knows absolutely nothing about the Motion Picture Industry and now SOPA PIPA and the NDAA all come into play.

The problem is that on all these issues huge lobbyist groups are paying politicians to vote the way they want. The American people don't have anyone to lobby for their side, and the pols don't have the morality to represent their people nor do what's right.

That Twitter communication is the one thing that is out there that any regular citizen can throw something out there and stir up some shit. get direct comments to these pols and even the pariahs of society in the Entertainment Field. Right but the government is working on having the rights to shut it down. They blamed stuff like that for the riots in London and said it was social media's fault.

Which is why American Citizens should be doing that Taking it to the Streets thingy. because in a minute they will have it all under control. They know social netowrking sites were used for the Arab spring. So they are making all the necessary moves to get it under law so they can say that it is by law. The Law has decreed that it will be under control.
