What a sad end to an already sad tale. Hope he found peace and forgiveness.

I was about to ask who that was. That kind of stress can do a number on a man of his age.

It's weird how many people die so soon after losing a spouse or retiring. I guess Andy Rooney is the latest example.

Some men do croak soon after retirement. I can't wait to retire but my dad works PT and a military base by my parents house. I like that he does that. Keeps his mind and body active.

What about a military base?

I agree it is good for them to keep active. A PT job is perfect.

Typo. I meant at a military base. Not "and" a military base. I think it's a Navy base.

Ah, I thought maybe that's what you meant but I didn't think he was in the Navy. He does a civilian job?

Sorry, CBS had it up on their front page and now they are saying they made a mistake.

I am sure the stress of being outed as a pedophile protector is having a toll on his health. They took him off the ventilator, so it is only a matter of time before he kicks the bucket. If they have him on a morphine drip he is in lala land and can't ponder about all those kids that he let his buddy ass slam in his locker room.

 Tell us how you really feel Peter!

I definitely have more sympathy for the kids.

Did he only know about it or did he engage in it too? It's awful either way but I'm curious.

As far as I know his crime was knowing about it and not doing much about it. There has been nothing to suggest he participated.

Ah, I see.Peter's comment made it seem like he was involved. That said, it's still awful.

That tends to happen when people find out that you are covering for a pedophile. The entire establishment of the state was.

Sorry, if I see a man in a position to be near young boys- first thought- pedophile.

That's a shame but it's understandable.

I mean, I understand the sadness and all, but kids were molested under his watch. At the very least, you could have fired Sandusky quietly after the authorities did nothing.

Thats true too. I don't know a lot about the case but they could have done something to keep the kids safe and they didn't.

The episode (I think it's two part series, acually) where Burns gets shot is hilarious Funniest one, IMHO.

I always loved anything with Lionel Hutz

"Oh crap, we drew Judge McCarthy. He's had it out for me since I kinda ran over his dog."
"You did?"
"Well, replace 'kinda' with 'repeatedly' and 'dog' with 'son'."

I haven't watched that show is ages but it's funny. That' says a lot coming from me. I don't watch much TV at all and when I do it's usually not comedy.
