The left-wing media comes totally out of the closet...

"It ran for one hour and six minutes, with 12 different reporters (https://twitter.com/markknoller/status/387660298850541568) being called on — although, notably, not Ed Henry of Fox News — and between them they couldn’t muster one question about the catastrophe that is Healthcare.gov or the spectacle of National Park Rangers locking senior-citizen tourists out of war memorials and/or inside their hotels (http://hotair.com/archives/2013/10/08/report-armed-rangers-forced-senior-citizen-tourists-to-stay-inside-their-hotel-during-yellowstone-visit-because-of-shutdown/)."
http://hotair.com/archives/2013/10/08/unbelievable-obama-gets-no-questions-at-presser-on-obamacare-rollout-or-shutdown-theater/

Totally orchestrated, totally Obama, and totally bullshit. The "news" media is gone. We still have the "media" where the various members seem to move seamlessly between MSNBC and the White House.

How sad. But, elections have consequences and the media's favorite won. So, they have to keep the curtain safely closed. I really don't blame Obama. He's doing the best he can with such limited ability, poor baby.

Obama Stiffs TV Reporters Entirely During Press Conference
It was like the feeling when a crowd figures out that a pitcher hasn't given up a hit in 5 innings: during President Obama's press conference on Tuesday, everyone suddenly started noticing that he wasn't calling on any television reporters.

This was intriguing; someone from NBC or CBS or ABC or CNN or Fox News can reliably expect to be granted a question, but Obama kept calling on people from places like Roll Call, and the Financial Times, and Agence France-Presse.

(He also called on HuffPost's Sam Stein.)

People started noticing:

Back in the real world ...

I'm sure everyone is shocked, shocked mind you, that President Obama didn't call on the reporter with the Fox News Channel. Shocked. But, he not only called on reporters from the Huffington Post and the NYT but gave the reported from the Huffington Post a Presidential Attaboy for asking the right question really well.

"
One way to know if a journalist is asking a softball question is when the President of the United States compliments the reporter after he or she asks it. That happened twice on Tuesday as Barack Obama talked to reporters about the government shutdown. The President called on Sam Stein of the liberal Huffington Post website. Stein dutifully wondered, "With Speaker Boehner so far unwilling to hold a vote on a clean CR, what assurances can you give to those affected by a shutdown who are concerned about an even longer impasse?"He added, "And how worried are you personally that your preferred solution to this -- a clear CR at sequestration levels -- may do harm to the nation's economy and your second term agenda?" Finding the question appropriately fawning, Obama responded, "Sam, you're making an important point." The President looked favorably on a similar query from a New York Times journalist."

I'll bet Sam Stein was so gosh[darned proud of making his boss happy that he wet his pants. Puppies do that, too, but they don't wear pants.

Oh, golly, Reuters. Roberta Rampton. And, Al Shapiro of NPR. Alexis Smendinger of Real Clear Politics actually went a bit off the plantation so she didn't get an attaboy.

Starting the day with lies, Cigar. And, you're handlers must be in a panic if they're paying you overtime to post early.

The media doesn't ask him why he's a non-negotiator, why he continues to use words of division, they don't ask about Benghazi anymore, Syria, our position in the ME, why there are still 60,000 troops in Afghanistan, why detainees are now taken to Us military ships and interrogated by the CIA(where our habeas screamers are...you tell me....detainee policies was once a front burner issue in these United States until an (R) wasn't in the Oval Office anymore)

Thread start is dead on, these have turned into clownish displays of lying and deceit. When will the sheep wake up?

And, in later news, well, not in later news. The closed National Mall was opened just for the immigration rally that saw 8 members of the House of Representatives arrested. But, the three network channels--ABC, CBS, and NBC--mentioned neither the rally on the closed National Mall or the arrest of the representatives on what passes for news shows on those chnnels. The reps will be angry since they were counting on media exposure but I guess ABC, CBS, and NBC got their orders from the White House.

Of course, ABC, CBS, and NBC don't really have news shows. They have administration propaganda comments.
