Because you do not reflect my views, nor the views of millions of Texans, in the least. Millions of Texans want the Affordable Care Act (ACA, or aka "Obamacare") to succeed. It's tragic and unconscionable that you want to see millions of Texans continue with no health insurance. Try being honest, for a change. You represent a very small fraction of extremist Texans.

Hey, Ted Cruz! These Texans Say Obamacare Is Helping Them
3.5 million uninsured Texans will finally get coverage under Obamacare. (One million more could have been covered if Gov. Rick Perry had agreed to the law's expansion of Medicaid.) Texas has the highest percentage of uninsured citizens in the country (http://www.politico.com/story/2013/10/obamacare-showdown-in-lone-star-state-97906.html#ixzz2i0BdiEim); of the 25 million people in Texas, one in four don't have health insurance coverage.

One in four live on the border and are illegal

about 5% of the population of texas is here illegally

As of 2004, the state has 3.5 million foreign-born residents, 15.6% of the state population, of which an estimated 1.2 million are illegal immigrants.

As of the 2010 US Census, the racial distribution in Texas was as follows: 70.4% of the population of Texas was White American (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_American); 11.8% African American (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_American); 3.8%, Asian American (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_American); 0.7%, American Indian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_Americans_in_the_United_States); 0.1%, native Hawaiian or Pacific islander only; 10.5% of the population were of some other race only; and 2.7% were of two or more races. Hispanics (of any race) were 37.6% of the population of the state, while Non-Hispanic Whites (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-Hispanic_Whites) composed 45.3%.
English Americans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_Americans) predominate in eastern, central, and northern Texas; German Americans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Americans), in central and western Texas. African Americans, who historically made up one-third of the state population, are concentrated in parts of eastern Texas as well as in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston metropolitan areas.

The Rational Irrationality of Political Fans

There are people who learn political information for reasons other than becoming better voters. Just as sports fans love to follow their favorite teams even if they cannot influence the outcomes of games, so there are also “political fans” who enjoy following political issues and cheering for their favorite candidates, parties, or ideologies.

Unfortunately, much like sports fans, political fans tend to evaluate new information in a highly biased way....

All of this makes little sense if the goal is truth-seeking....Economist Bryan Caplan calls this approach to information “rational irrationality”: when your purpose is something other than truth-seeking, it is often rational to be highly biased in the way you evaluate new information and also in your selection of information sources.6Unlike Caplan, I contend that widespread political ignorance would be a menace even if voters were always rational in their evaluation of what they know....

Two Thousand years later and you're still talking

about him. Apparently it didn't work and I

don't expect you to get the point.
