Representative Ellmers questioning HHS chief Kathleen Sebelius:

Ellmers: Now I--you know, as far as the essential health benefits [of Obamacare], correct me if I'm wrong, do men not have to buy maternity coverage?

Sebelius: Policies will cover maternity coverage for young and healthy--

Ellmers: Including men?

Sebelius: Under 30-year-olds will have a choice also of a catastrophic plan which has no maternity coverage.

Ellmers: The men are required to purchase--

Sebelius: Well, an insurance policy has a series of benefits, whether you use them or not. And one of the benefits will be--

Ellmers: To the best of your knowledge has a man ever delivered a baby?

Sebelius: I don't think so.

BURN!!!!

It was a perfect dressing down of an all too often patronizing Obama administration. Way to go Representative Ellmers.

Yeah, that and about a hundred other reasons.

This type of game is stupid. Sebellius has no authority over what goes into the plan and is just a way of grandstanding. Most people understand how insurance pools work and how the packages work.

The inquiry is supposed to be about the mismanagement of the website and while this stuff make make Republicans feel good to ask it turns off independents that they could use later.

The website and premiums is enough to sink them, but as usual Republicans are their own worst enemy. They don't think that they need anyone else's help and won't shut their mouths up to cater to those people.

I agree. The GOP has handled this issue poorly. It is almost as if they do it on purpose....

Al and I were talking about this, that either 90% of the Republicans elected are just the dumbest assholes in the world or they are colluding with Dems.

Do you have health insurance?

If so, I bet it covers pap smears.

Don't believe me? Check your policy.

I think that I have figured it out? The Democrats are much more religious than previously thought!

Sarah was 90 years old

And apparently they are concerned that you do not need a man to become pregnant!

BUT THEY STILLBELEIVE WHAT YOU SEE IN THE MOVIES IS TRUE!

This is the only thing I can think of that they used as guidelines for the ACA mandated coverage?

I'm 72 but I suspect I'll live to hear of 80-year old men getting hysterectomies and 20-year old women having prostate surgery. The government has already said that like Cuba our surgeons and other service providers don't actually need to be doctors. Actual doctors can be saved to work with politicians.

I see a boom in Mexican healthcare on the horizon.

It is what you get with central planning- a one size fits all solution.

Independents - people too stupid to make up their mind or to hold a solid opinion. They give absolute credence to the axiom that those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.

Or independents aren't fooled by the corrupt two party system.
