Uhhh, what did Dems think? They could force insurance companies to take high risk patients, 80/20% rules and they would just give up and be nonprofits? They are either stupid or dishonest.

warned her fellow Democrats to start blaming the insurance companies
for cancelling the policies of those with insurance plans that do not
meet standards set by the Affordable Care Act, and soon. “They are a
fantastic enemy in this,” she said.
“For the life of me, I do not understand why we as Democrats are not
aggressively blaming that on the insurance companies,” the head of Lake
Research said on Monday during a media breakfast marking the release of
the George Washington University Battleground Poll alongside Republican
pollster Ed Goeas.
