We all know by now that President Obama lied over and over and over again when he said that if you liked your healthcare plan you could keep. He and his myrmidons dance tap dance a lie some more but we know.

But, guess who else told the same lie. Sen. Harry Reid, Sen. Richard Durbin, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Sen. Patty Murray, Sen. Max Baucus, Sen. Tom Harkin, Rep. Tammy Baldwin, Sen. Mark Begich, Sen. Michael Bennet, Sen. Barbara Boxer, Sen. Sherrod Brown, Sen. Ben Cardin, Sen. Bob Casey, Sen. Kay Hagan, Sen. Mary Landrieu, Sen. Pat Leahy, Sen. Bob Menendez, Sen. Jeff Merkley, Sen. Barbara Mikulski, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, Sen. Jack Reed, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, Sen. Debbie Stabenow, Sen. Jon Tester, Sen. Tom Udall, and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse.

All but one on the list of shame are Democrats. The one who isn't, Sen. Bernie Sanders, if wandering around somewhere left of the socialists. The best part of this, is most of the tracks they left are in the Congressional Record where they're free to lie and then change the record. The Democrats, were so comfortable lying they didn't even bother to change the record. Some were recorded public events and written documents. Some were lying in press releases and some were on leftist media outlets such as MSNBC and Rolling Stone

And, they're adamant. They won't apologize. It's like insider trading. Lying is approved behavior. And, not surprisingly, this lying was strictly along party lines. No bipartisan lying here.

That I didn't know is getting tiresome. The democrats were responsible and no excuse for this. Try that in a court of law and the judge will tell a person fast there is no excuse for ignorance of the law.

But, Roadmaster. On the IRS $1,000,000 party scandal they said they couldn't say exactly how the money was spent because they didn't keep receipts. You try that one on the IRS and see what happens.

I'm sure you realize that the rules for the government and the rules for the proles are polar opposites. You lie to the government and it's a crime. The government lies to you and it's "what's your problem?"

If we didn't keep receipts we would be in jail. They are passing new laws that they haven't even told the public yet taking away our rights and making more to jail us. It's getting crazy.

Yes Pat we know all this, this is very old and redundant news you and the other teapartsies tell us over and over again ad nauseum. Now one question do any republicans lie about anything and if so how come you never mention it. Could it be it would burn your tongue to even utter a syllable thats not cheerleading the right or disparaging the left LIKE YOU ACCUSE everyone else of doing, lol

Sorry the topic went over your head but I'm not going to play your silly game. You can play with yourself, Common.

The question is who on your list is the best liar?

This doesn't make it excusable, but I'm thinking perhaps he was more ignorant than outright lying. Maybe in the beginning he genuinely believed it would be possible but as the project developed the realistion that it wouldn't be the case became a PR nightmare where he's had to keep touting it instead of admitting to error (which would be lying). I don't think a politician would lie to that degree knowingly, because that would be extremely stupid, but I do believe a politician would lie once they were cornered with their error even though that would likely hurt them more. "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" "I didn't inhale"... like they're caught in their own web.

Adelaide, he could easily have corrected his lie after the first utterance by adding, "...as long as the police doesn't change." That would be sneaky and dishonest but would avoid lying. President Obama is used to a privileged life where he could be excused for everything. Why should he think anything has changed?

I'm sure he's going, "Oh shit," in hindsight. He's human. We make stupid mistakes. Doesn't excuse them, but I don't believe he's a superior being who is not going to make mistakes. I have no doubts he's severely botched this one and that he is lying (at least by omission if not outright depending on which part of the program he's discussing), but I'm offering up the idea that he didn't know what would happen. I don't think anyone could know for sure. Even still, we're only a month and a half in so we can't truly know where this will be in 4 months.

This is what happens when you have an administration full of people with no real world experience, starting right from the top.

As for Obama, he has exhibited a pervasive pattern of lying, even about things of no consequence.

Since they knew in 2010 that this was going to happen, he either knowingly lied or is abysmally ignorant of what is going on in his administration. Both are equally damming of him. Take your pick.
