COMMENTARY | As Presidents Day approaches and we reflect on the challenges faced by past presidents, we note that Barack Obama has taken office during one of the toughest times in history. Most importantly, he began his term during an "economic freefall," as dubbed by Forbes (http://www.forbes.com/sites/petercohan/2012/02/06/why-president-obama-will-beat-romney-in-november/), which is one of several outlets predicting an Obama victory this year.

Yahoo! News experts are also predicting victory for the president based on many indicators, which have continually evolved over past elections.

According to the Yahoo! News Signal forecast (http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/signal/obama-poised-win-2012-election-303-electoral-votes-202543583.html), the current state of the economy is less important than the direction it is going.

Politcalbettingodds.com (http://www.politicalbettingodds.com/2012-us-presidential-election-odds.html) is predicting an Obama victory simply based on numbers. Want to win some money?

Voters in this election year have a choice between an incumbent president who is getting the job done over enormous obstacles or whoever the GOP decides is conservative enough. There is no middle ground. All of the GOP candidates scare me. We have a rich guy, a mean guy, or a homophobic guy. No thanks. I'll take the mellow guy in the White House.....snip~

These are the Libs experts? A Supporter of the left and Contributor to Yahoo's News Network? Question is why is she writing about politics as a Contibutor when she really doesn't cover that field. That she considers Obama a mellow guy.

I will bet a Peace President to.....huh? Must of forgot about those promises he failed to keep and the fact that his policies will end up putting us in debt by another 5 trillion if not more.

Plus Forbes backed Obama as well. This does not make him an expert it just shows his partisanship.

Is Forbes endorsing him or just saying they expect him to win? I assume you're just talking about the magazine. If Steve Forbes is endorsing Obama, hoo boy.

More than likely.....I thought Forbes did last time round too. How the Left does not see those there with the money is beyond me. Buffet, Gates, Jobs(deceased), Soros, Lady Rothschild, HollyWood, Goldman Sachs.

It looks like only Statists will be in the running. So what is the difference?
