NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Yale University is condemning the monitoring of Muslim college students across the Northeast by the New York Police Department, calling it "antithetical to the values of Yale, the academic community, and the United States," while Rutgers University and leaders of student Muslim groups are calling for investigations into the monitoring.
The NYPD monitored Muslim college students far more broadly than previously known, at schools far beyond the city limits, including the Ivy League colleges of Yale and the University of Pennsylvania, The Associated Press reported Saturday.

My first reaction to this is to laugh at the hypocrisy of these little bastions of totalitarianism (e.g. Rutgers). They bully and intimidate students who have views incompatible with orthodox liberalism. Moreover, civil liberties are frequent violated on university campuses all in the name of a noble cause of course.

I wonder what they would think of outright expulsion?

We'd get the same song and dance with a little more outrage thrown in.

"What".....don't they want equal equality of measures for all? All Stemming from Universities that turn around and charge everybody a life, putting them and their families in debt just to go to school and get an education.

Thats the another thing that irks me about Education. they will ridicule one who did not finish school. yet that individual went and studied every known material there is on a certain subject or field, and is truly more of an expert than any who were teaching such.

No doubt a university education is not what it once was.
