As ive said many times Americans do not like extremists, left or right and they always reject them.

In the latest presidential polling (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/2016_republican_presidential_nomination-3823.html#polls), three senators are falling fast. While not predictive of the future, it does tell us what Republicans think of these and other candidates. Why are Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Tex.) doing so poorly? Rand Paul reached 15 percent to 20 percent in a variety of polls; now he’s in single digits. Cruz, once at 20 percent, has plummeted to 5 percent in a recent MSNBC poll. Rubio once surpassed 20 percent but now is at about 7 percent.

I think we should run a pair of identical twins who will both have the identical platform. They would also have to pick identical twins as running mates. That would be fun wondering which was which.

What percentage of the two parties would you say were "extremist" or is it only one party that is extremist in nature?

You are another foreigner aren't you? I should have known. To me foreigners have as much credibility discussing American politics as Ellen Degeneres has discussing male sexuality.

Gee it couldn't be because of the LWNJ machine that made a huge shit over Rand Paul when they gave Obummer and Biden a pass, naww.

Both parties have their extremist factions, I couldnt guess what percentage it is for either. I dislike both extremes immensely but right now its right wing extremists causing all the grief.

Cruz never had a shot, he is kind of in the same situation as Christie and more of a showboat than an actual candidate. Rubio also never had a chance this time since he is responsible for giving in on immigration, possibly in the future he will do better but just not now.

Paul is rather surprising however, I assumed he would have a very good run but its still early so he may bounce back.

Still, I think the big dogs still haven't shown up yet, people like Jeb Bush or even Rice will pretty much decimate the contenders we are looking at now.

Do you think this might have something to do with your popularity here?

I sort of agree with you in the sense that placing any importance on polls at this point is ridiculous. Michelle Bachman won the 2012 Ames Straw poll. Before the primaries, Rick Perry was seen as a contender. Santorum had a lead for a while. Herman Cain took a short lead in the polls, before the sexual harassment rumors. Santorum was close in some polls.

I think people underestimate Cruz. He was some kind of debate champion at Princeton. Say what you want, or disagree with his politics, or call him creepy, whatever, but the dude isn't stupid. He's the smartest guy in most rooms.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. Next election will be one globalist money-printer military-interventionist Orwellian non-transparent person vs. another, both with studio quality hair.
