It looks like the government is having a hard time convincing people (http://nypost.com/2014/01/19/obamacares-mandate-meltdown/) that Obamacare is worth the money. Not surprising since premiums are up and deductibles are up.

ObamaCare’s authors wanted to use both a carrot and a stick to make the law work, but neither one looks effective. The subsidies for coverage are concentrated on the lowest-income households, not the middle class, and the mandate was watered down. So if ObamaCare is to succeed, it will have to do so based on its attractiveness to consumers.

Did you see that they admitted yesterday that there will still be about 30 million people without insurance?

I missed that. I would think that the number would be higher.

The OP also points out that Obamacare is designed to put much of the burden for paying for Obamacare on the young. But today, it is the old that tend to have money (to include government entitlements) and it is the young, at least those who went to college, that tend to have much more debt than assets. And the young are waking up to this reality.

Oh sure. Still the law. And still a bad deal.

The longer the better. Obama supporters are going to have to reap the pain that they voted for.

It's still illegal to enter the U.S. without visa, but it's done hundreds of times a day.

So what's your problem?

Don't have one. Not sure what confused you into thinking that I had a problem.
