I like to see people get owned. Not just any people, but people whom I consider to be closed-minded, loud-mouthed bigots. I dedicate this thread to you, Bill O'Reilly.

You guessed correctly. Because you didn't guess anything at all.

Sorry, :) I didn't realize that you were Nancy Pelosi undercover. That was my mistake, sorry about that. I assure you it wont happen again.

I'm not going to pretend that makes any sense to me, and I'm not going to ask you to attempt to make sense of it. I'm just going to smoke a bowl and pretend it doesn't mean anything.

Bill Maher is a buffoon.

Actually he's more sympathetic to Christ's actual intentions than you're led to believe, and knows more about the Bible than you probably do. No offense. As I am, he's against the blasphemers who call themselves Christians, but do not try to lead Christ-like lives at all.

Spunkloaf, Maher is a buffoon. He's not a particularly intelligent man. If you honestly believe he knows much of anything about the bible then I'd be more than happy to discuss Maher's brilliant exegesis if you can find some for me. Then again, you probably just need to sober up. I'll catch you tomorrow.

Well, he was able to school O'Reilly on a particular verse of the Bible, and he knew exactly where to find it. There's a start.

No speakers here but I'll be glad to listen to it tomorrow. Something tells me that neither one of them knows what they're talking about. On the other hand, they wouldn't be talking about it if weren't for Maher's antics.

You think Christ would talk about women the way Maher does?

And then you liberals wonder why the rest of us think you have lost your minds.

Maher is a :douchebag: not to mention he has never been funny as a Comedian. So just why does Maher have a special on HBO. He can't even compete with the Comics doing stand up today. He can't act. Nor can he come up with his own original material. But he gets to have a show where he can grip about politics???

Know what you get when you put Maher and Tosh.0 together on the same show? It's called the shit, in the bottom of the barrel.

True he is a baffoon but what I think Spunk was saying is that in the big picture, all of these supposed Christians want to put on a face for the rest of the world while in their private lives they are about as Christian as an Arab. I won't even do a job for a preacher anymore because I never get paid and you can't satisfy them for any amount of money no matter what you do.

I'm not saying all are that way, but quite a few are. It's the holier than thou attitude, like most know already I'm agnostic and for that reason I get the nose and the thumb most of the time. Thing is that I'm more likely to help somebody who needs it than the churches around here. You don't have to be a Christian to be charitable and lead a morally good life, that is nonsense.

BTW I think O'Reilly is a baffoon too.

We could save billions of dollars if they would just legalize weed. Not only that but the tax on it if sold at a liquor store or some other adult place could put billions in the coffer. Makes perfect sense to me, save billions and make billions. Where is the problem with that?

Spunk, Maher needs a few lessons on Christian theology.

Such as...? K there's a reference to killing one's neighbor on Sunday he says is found in Deuteronomy, which is actually Exodus 31:15

I like the part where O'Reilly references the supposed finding of Noah's Ark on a mountain in Turkey. I've heard of this before, and found a source. Check this out.
http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Global-Issues/2010/0428/Doubt-cast-on-Noah-s-ark-found-in-Turkey

A Chinese-Turkish team from Noah's Ark Ministries International (http://www.noahsarksearch.net/eng/) held a press conference April 25 in Hong Kong (http://www.csmonitor.com/tags/topic/Hong+Kong) to present their findings and say they were “99 percent sure” that pieces of wood found at above 12,000-feet elevation and dated as 4,800 years old were from the biblical Noah’s ark (http://www.csmonitor.com/Science/2010/0428/Noah-s-Ark-discovered.-Again.).
...................
But Dr. Randall Price (http://www2.newsadvance.com/lna/news/local/article/lynchburg_man_looking_for_noahs_ark/13000/), an evangelical Christian and former member of the Chinese-led team that announced this week’s finding, says the latest purported finding may not withstand closer scrutiny.

"If the world wants to think this is a wonderful discovery, that’s fine. My problem is that, in the end, proper analysis may show this to be a hoax and negatively reflect how gullible Christians can be," he says.

Ouch.

I think the only thing I agree with O'Reilly about is that the Bible should not be taken literally. Although Maher makes a good point that many average Christians take it much more literally than the smarter Christians care to admit.

I also love how Bill O'Reilly (yes, Bill O'Reilly) accuses Bill Maher of insulting people with the comment "You mock them. You denigrate them. You try to make them feel stupid. That's not noble, Bill. That's not noble."

Listen to how spiteful and judgmental you are. Are you Christian? If you are, don't admit it to me. You'll only further damage my image of Christians with comments like the one you just made. For the sake of everybody, I'll assume you're a devil worshiper. Must be where that hatred comes from.
