If the presidential election were held tomorrow, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) thinks Hillary Clinton would come out on top.

"I would bet, my friend, as much as I hate to admit it, that right now – this is why we have campaigns – but right now, if the election were tomorrow, Hillary Clinton would most likely be the president of the United States," McCain told CNN's Piers Morgan (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2014/02/20/mccain-if-election-were-tomorrow-clinton-would-be-president/) on Thursday.

The Arizona Republican cautioned that the former secretary of state "wouldn't be my candidate." McCain's comments were in response to Rep. Michele Bachmann's (R-MN) remark that she didn't see a "pent-up desire" for a woman president (note that she ran for the Republican presidential nomination herself in 2012).

"I just have a very different reading of the American political scene," McCain responded, citing the growing number of women serving in Congress and in state leadership, like his home state Gov. Jan Brewer (R). Clinton has said she'll decide next year on whether to launch a 2016 bid.

She'll be president in a couple years.

The GOP is already lining up monkeys for nomination, no doubt another stellar turd to tee up this time around also.

Looks like Scot Walker and Christ Christie will toast by July and the GOP will beck to The Clown Wagon.

If the GOP takes over the both houses ... it will be another decade of doing nothing but destruction.

At one point ... someone has to say ... DO SOMETHING ... ANYTHING ... JUST TRY ...

We've already know that Doing Nothing get's us ... so why not try SOMETHING

It's why the RW bucket brigade is clinging on to Bengazi with a death grip - it's all they got.

She's also smart enough to put up with a whoremongering, sexually harassing bully because she knows that nobody cares about "Hillary Rodham".

And how liberal women vote for her is beyond me. It just shows how fake and hypocritical some people are.

You're right.

Ethics and integrity have nothing to do with politics, especially liberal politics.

Trippi, the longtime Democratic political strategist (http://www.trippiandassociates.com/) who began his career working on Ted Kennedy's 1980 presidential campaign and is best-known for spearheading Howard Dean's Internet-fueled insurgency in 2004, says a strong run by a libertarian-leaning presidential candidate is inevitable. Four important changes in American politics are creating this opportunity: a socially tolerant public, the effective end of the two-party system, disruptive technologies, and the growing popularity of politicians such as Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

"The younger generation is probably the most libertarian and sort of tolerant, and has more libertarian values, I'd say, than any generation in American history," Trippi told Reason TV at a National School Choice Week (http://schoolchoiceweek.com/) event in San Francisco. An ardent defender of educational innovation, Trippi quips that he became a devoted proponent of school choice (https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Areason.com+%22joe+trippi%22&oq=site%3Areason.com+%22joe+trippi%22&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.7429j0j4&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8#q=site:reason.com+%22joe+trippi%22+%22school+cho ice%22) when he entered kindergarten at five years old.
